They all started laughing, now I was really confused.
" What?" I asked again
" You totally zoned out." Ash said
" Im sorry." I said
" Its ok love." Ash said and kissed my forehead
I didnt eat much, so I just sat there listening to their conversation.
Then the bell rang and we all got up and we went back to our lockers
We had art next so we only had to bring our pencil pouch.
Ash and I walked hand in hand to the art room.
Once we were in the room, we got a seat next to each other.
The room was so pretty. It had art work all over the walls and it was so bright. I could tell Mrs. Binks, the teacher, really loved her job.
She started her lesson on paint. We were going to start the out line for our painting project. We had to draw something that expressed ourselves and then we were going to paint it on friday.
She handed out painting paper then told us to start.
I had no idea what to draw.
" What should I draw Ash?" I asked
" What do you like?" he asked
" I like music, you, and running." I said
He smiled when I said ' you'
" You could draw musical notes." Mrs. Binks said
I nodded.
" What are you drawing?" i asked Ash
" The same thing." he said
" Really?" I asked
" Yea." he said " We hare more in common than you think." he smirked
I started outlining the musical notes and before I knew it the bell rang.
We all got up, now it was back to lockers so we could go home.
We got the stuff required for homework, we only had to do some note cards for Government.
Then we went back to homeroom and waited for us to be released.
When we were called we walked out to his car. He opened the door for me. I put my leather bag in the back.
He started driving home.
" So what do you want to do when we get back to the house?" Ash asked me
" I dont know." I said
" Do you want to meet my brother and mother?" he asked holding my hand.
" Sure." I said happily
" Well just to warn you, my mother can be.... well.... a little rude, unhappy, not very nice." he said looking for the words
" Im sure shes not that bad." I said as we got to the house
" Well you'll see." he said and got out and came to open my door
We walked up to his, no, our room to drop off our things.
He held my hand as we went down to the alphas office.
He nocked and we went in.
" Hello son, hello Bailey." he said nicely
" Hey dad wheres mom and Jarred?" Ash asked his father.
" I think they are both in the kitchen why?" he responded
" I want them to meet my mate." Ash said leading me out
" Your my sons mate! He got lucky." the alpha mumbled the last part
We went in to the kitchen. There was an older woman and a young man in there.
" Hey Sophie, hey Jared." Ash said
Jared smiled but Sophie didn't. Is Sophie his mother?
" Jared this is my mate Bailey, Bailey this is my older brother Jared." Ash introduced us and I shook his hand
We turned to Sophie.
" Mom this is Bailey, Bailey this is Sophie." He said
She looked at me up and down, she looked disappointed.
" Well you could have done better." She said
Hurtful much
I guess Ash knew that it hurt when she said that so he put his arm around my waist.
" You do not speak to my mate that way!" he said and pulled me back up to our room.
Once we were in our room we sat on the bed
" Im sorry about her. Shes bitter. Don't listen to her." he said and kissed me
" Why is she like that?" I asked
" Because my dad and her are nit true mates. They were forced to mate. So now she looks down on every one and everything." he said
Poor thing.
" Oh Im sorry." I said
" Dont be, shes never been a mother to me. I hate her." he said like he didn't just say he hated his own mother
Speaking of mothers, I haven't seen mine. Ir my sister.
" Can We go see my mom?" I asked
" Sure Bailey." he said
We walked to my mothers door and nocked.
No answer.
I nocked again.
Still no answer.
I twisted the door nob to see if it was locked, it wasn't. So we went in.
She was not in there, but I had a bad feeling about it.
I looked on her bed, there was an envelope that had my name on it.
I sat on the bed and opened it.
' Dear Bailey,
I couldn't take it any more. Not being with him. I have left. Dont try to find me. I love you and you sister, dont ever forget that. I left all my money and things to you and Carly. She has a note on the back of this one if you would give it to her. Bailey, I know you found your mate. So I know that now you will under stand what its like not being with him. It hurts to much to be here without your father. All I ask is that you dont come look for me Bea. I love you, I will always be with you and Im very proud if you.

I started crying, now I had no parents.
Ashton held me as I cried. I didn't know what to do.
