"Tate... It's ok. I know you have changed. You sound like a completely different person from the one who killed people. But I just need time. I need time to think over all this. So can you please just leave me alone for today." I nodded and she left. I think she truly believes that I am a new person. I see Violet standing in the shadows. I am still angry at her.
"Why did you have to tell Kenzi? You could have ruined it Violet. I left you alone with all the guys. Luckily she is fine with it. She sees that I have changed. Something that you never will." And I went away
The next day I went to see Kenzi. It was a Saturday so she wasn't at school. "Hi Tate," she said when she saw me. "I have thought about everything that you have said and it is fine. It was in the past." She actually looked happy.
"I have thought about things to Kenzi. I was wondering if you wanted to go out tomorrow." I had a plan. "How?" Kenzi asked. And I told her. "Tomorrow is Halloween..."
