You were at home when your girlfriend came running through the door looking extremely excited
"Hey, what's up with you?"
You asked her
She dropped her bag and ran over to you and jumped onto you, surprising you.
"Woah!"
You exclaimed as you tried to regain your balance
"Sorry."
She pulled away from you and looked at you
"I just got really excited."
She let go of you and sat down on the sofa and patted the spot next to her
"What is it then?"
You asked smiling at her excited state as you sat down
"What's my favourite Disney film?"
She asked you
You thought hard for your answer before you chose the most obvious one
"Pocahontas."
"Yes!"
She looked so happy
She pulled out her phone and showed you and advert
"Look it's on TV now!"
"We'll do you want to watch it?"
You asked her already knowing the answer
She looked at you as if you were stupid
"Yes of course I want to watch it y/n"
She ran into the bedroom and grabbed the duvet and brought it into the living room
"Are you going to get popcorn then?"
She asked you hopefully as you were still sat down
"Yes yes. I'll get the popcorn."
You laughed at her
"Your so excited over a child's film."
You mumbled
"Hey!"
She shouted to you
"It is not a child's film!"
"Whatever you say your highness!"
You shouted back
You heard her laugh at your childish antics
You soon brought the popcorn and a cup of hot chocolate
"Here."
You handed them to her and she kissed you on the cheek pulling you next to her
"Thank you."
She whispered
"Now shush it's starting."
She put her finger on your lips even though you weren't speaking
And that's how you spent your night; watching a child's- not a child's film.
