Not a word had been spoken all morning we were both awake my head on Charlie's chest one of his hands held mine the other running up and down my back
"Can I show something like you showed me that memory last night?" Charlie asked quietly
"I can try my best to see it" I said never having tried it before and being unable to read his thoughts and emotions I didn't know if I could

"When was that?" I asked not being able to see anything but myself the rest of the memory was blurred
"The day I realized that we could never just be friends" He said as I repositioned myself so I could see his face
"Why didn't you say anything?"
"I was planning to at the world cup and then I chickened out and then the death eaters came and when I saw you coming up the yard covered in blood I figured you had heard me and Bill talking so I thought it would be best to leave you alone and then your birthday happened and you stormed out so quickly afterward and I figured that you wanted nothing to do with me after that and then yesterday when you said you were going on a date and I got so damn jealous so I tried making it here before you left hoping I wasn't too late" He explained cupping my face with one hand
"You're never too late Charlie" I smiled
"I'm never letting go" He whispered pulling me down for a kiss
"Good" I mumbled into the kiss

"What does it taste like?" Charlie asked watching me grimace at the taste of the wolfsbane potion
"You can try a little if you want" I said handing him the cup he sniffed it gagging before shrugging and taking a small sip
"That's horrible" He gagged trying his best to get rid of the taste with water
"I know but adding anything makes it useless" I chuckled downing the last bit putting the cup in the sink so I could wash it later

The next time we had an order meeting Charlie and I ate at Grimmauld place with the rest of the Weasleys, my dad, and Sirius
"It's so nice to see the two of you being friends again" Molly beamed handing me a cup of tea while Charlie was trying to get back at Fred and George after they got him with yet another prank
"It's nice to have him back even when he's being an arse" I chuckled as I watched Fred and George hide behind the sofa
"Where are they?" Charlie panted standing in the doorway to the sitting room
"Behind the sofa" Arthur chuckled looking back at his two sons who were hiding from their brother they tried to make a run for it but stopped when they ran into the blocked doorway
"It's not fair that you get her to help you" The two complained from the floor
"I didn't ask her to help" Charlie chuckled leaning on the back of my chair
"She read your mind then" Fred argued helping George up from the floor
"Can't do that" I stated blankly as I drank my tea
"Wait he's immune to your mindreading powers?" Bill asked
"I can't do everything as much as you like to think I can" I shrugged taking another sip of my tea
"Some people are immune to being read it's not that uncommon" Dad explained as Charlie picked me up sitting down where I was and made me sit on his lap
"Yeah besides it's not just thoughts I can read emotions and see and change dreams and memorys too" I said wrapping an arm around Charlies shoulder while both his arms were wrapped around my waist which was normal for us and had been for many years
"Are you two back to normal?" Bill asked with a smirk looking at us
"More or less" We shrugged both thinking that it was incredible no one had caught on to the fact that we we're a couple now
"I've been thinking now that you're living together where do guys you sleep?" Bill teased apperrently thinking that we were keeping it a secret
"In the bed where else knobhead" Charlie deadpanned catching on to what his brother was trying to do
"The same bed?"
"Bill I'm sorry to burst your little bubble but we've been friends over 20 years us having to share a bed is nothing new" Charlie shrugged giving my waist a squeeze
"Will you two just admit that you have feelings for each other and get it overwith already" Fred and George said seemingly annoyed with or avoidence of the questions
"We already had that talk" I shrugged feeling Charlie chuckle
"Then why are you not a couple?" Bill asked progessivlly getting more annoyed with us as our families laughed at the whole thing
"We are" Charlie and I deadpanned in unison
"Oh I'm so happy for you" Molly beamed crying at the news
"About time" Sirius scoffed with a laugh
"But didn't you just go on a date with another guy?" Bill asked apparently not quite believing us
"To get him to stop asking me all besides CJ took the rejection just fine we're still friends" I explained
"Mum will you stop crying it's not the biggest surprise if we have to be honest" Charlie chuckled as Molly cried hystarically causing Ginny and Ron to rush downstairs to see what the fuss was about
"Mum are you okay?" Ginny asked
"It happened" Molly cried happily
"What?" Ron asked clearly still half asleep Arthur just nodded in Charlie and mines direction and put an arm around his wife with a little chuckle
"Finally" Ginny grinned catching on quickly
"I don't get it" Ron said confused
"They're a couple Ron" My dad chuckled as he walked past him to the bathroom
"Why are you crying then mum?" He asked being cunfused as always about what was going on
