Harry POV

I panicked, I couldn't find Y/n.

The horcrux had been destroyed. But it felt like a part of me sort of got destroyed as well, in a way. It was an odd feeling.

I had to get up, I had to find her, but where had she gone? She was here a minute ago.

"Harry can you find where he is?" Hermione questioned me.

"Where is y/n?" I asked, my voice shaking with fear.

"I thought she was there..." Hermione's voice trailed off as she looked to the side.

"She should be fine though, right? Harry try to find where he is." Ron told me, and so I closed my eyes to find where Voldemort was hiding.

TIME SKIP TO PROFESSOR SNAPE'S DEATH AFTER HARRY SEES HIS MEMORY

Harry ran down the steps of Hogwarts for the last time it was empty except for the two brilliant people sitting on the steps in front of him.

It was just a few minutes ago he saw his own professor die, snape.

He can't believe it's time.

He needs to go to the Forest.

He has to die.

Harry James Potter is walking to his death.

"Harry, mate we thought you went to the Forest already." Ron said, getting up from his seat on the stairs along with Hermione.

Ron and Hermione are finally together after all these years.

"No, I'm about to go there now." Harry told them, his breath very unsteady.

They all couldn't believe it.

"You can't turn yourself in mate. You can't give up." Ron protested.

"I have no other choice, I think we've all known for a while." Harry said, referring to the piece of Voldemort living inside him.

"Kill the snake. Kill the snake and then it's just him." Harry said as his voice shook.

"I'll go with you." Hermione cried, Harry shook his head 'no' and Hermione hugged her best friend for the last time.

Ron still couldn't believe it, his first friend, his best friend is going to die.

"Alright so," Harry took a deep breath, "where's Y/n?" Harry's adrenaline was rushing, he was ready to hear Y/n coming from behind Ron but instead he heard Ron speak up,

"Y/n? We thought you might've found her and said goodbye or something. She's not with us, we haven't seen her since the room of requirements."

Hermione let out a shocked gasp.

Harry felt his heart drop. His breath caught in his chest.

Could she be dead?

"We need to find her-" Harry got cut off by a loud ringing that everyone heard.

It was Voldemort's raspy voice in everyone's head.

"Harry Potter, I have a little gift for you, a gift which is very precious. I hope you like it. But first.... You must come to the forbidden forest, you don't have much time or this gift. I like to call it, Y/n, tsk. It would be a waste to see her die because you didn't come to the forest. Be brave Harry Potter. Brave like your mother, and face me."

Suddenly a huge scream was heard in everyone's head, y/n's scream.

The harsh voice stopped but it left everyone's ears ringing.

Harry didn't know what to feel.

He was happy y/n wasn't dead but infuriated and scared that she was with Voldemort.

Hermione let more tears flow, her sister was gonna die if Harry didn't.

"I'm going." Harry let out.

"Listen, we can find another way to-" Ron got cut off by Harry, "I'm sorry, I have to."

He turned and started walking

"Harry please bring back my sister and stay alive, both of you, please." Hermione cried as Ron comforted her.

"I will, promise." Harry nodded without turning to face them, but unsure if he could stay true to his words.

HARRY POV

Right after I used the resurrection stone to see my parents and loved ones, I started walking deeper into the forest in hopes of seeing Y/n.

The forest was dark and gloomy, but my heart was beating fast in hope of seeing y/n's bright face when I walk through this clearing.

It was pretty quiet besides my ragged breathing and the sound of leaves crunching under my shoes.  I passed through the clearing and, y/n.

I could see death eaters and hagrid tied up saying, "ARRY? NO WHAT ARE YE DOIN' 'ERE?!", but Voldemort was smiling, and Y/n was being held by a death eater.

"Harry Potter, the boy who lived...come to die."

I embraced myself, ready for death. I looked at Y/n one last time saying

"I love you."

"Love you more." She choked back tears.

"Tsk tsk, you want a last hug?" Voldemort asked, I wasn't sure if he was sarcastic or not so I answered,

"Please." while nodding.

"Aw, you've done enough boy, AVADA KEDAVRA." As he said those words I closed my eyes ready to see my parents, and through my closed eye-lids I could see a flash of green light erupt from his wand and I held onto the last words I heard from y/n, she loved me, those words I waited for as long as I knew her, she loved me.
