"I am sorry," I told her as soon as we were alone in the water. "I didn't know you were height phobic."
"You know why I jumped with you?" She asked.
"No," I confessed.
"You are also height phobic, right?"
"How do you know that?"
"I looked at your expression when you were creating this. You were scared. I had hints of that before, but until today, I was never sure. The second reason was that I trusted you. Cleander was right. I hadn't trusted anyone since I was a hundred. But when I met you, when you saved my life and especially when you spared my sister and asked my brothers to help you, I found the first person after a long, long time to trust. And I wasn't going to let you die so easily."
I didn't know what to say. "Thanks."
Finally, she sighed after about a minute of silence. "There is a war going on outside."
"I was thinking when you will remember that," a new voice said from my left.
"Leander!" Christine exclaimed. "You were eavesdropping!" She complained.
"Since when were you here?" I asked.
"From a little less time before you guys entered and started your romantic talk."
"Get in," I told him, and the bubble shot out to the surface.
I summoned a plain sword in my hand. "I guess I and Christine can take the south-western army. You go and help Cleander."
"First look around," Leander told me.
I did, I knew we won.
There was nothing present around us except our army with smoking hi-tech guns and fire and dead enemy soldiers and destroyed machines plus our other weapons and spacecrafts.
"This isn't the end." He told me. "You have 2 real enemy's left now."
As if on cue, wolfram landed beside me.
Leo was sitting on his back. "We have a casualty." He told me.
"What happened?"
"Every soldier is present here," Christine said.
He wasn't able to meet my eyes. "Wolf King is almost dead."

I ran as fast as I could to the top of the second (the standing one) tower. Wolf king lay there, his brown and white fur slowly turning black.
"So here you are." He said in a quite cheerful voice.
"Can you ever sound old or tired?"
"A lot of wolves do, but I am not like that. Wolves of Transoid have an exceptionally long life. I am ninety-eight thousand years old."
"What?"
"Whatever the case, it's now my time to rest, and my son's time to take his duty. Not just to become the king, but another one. I want him to accompany you. And I want his brother to accompany your father. So, without doubt, you can take wolfram with yourself. And I make wolfram the king of wolves as well. Also, Apollo, do me another favour. Take the humans back to Earth. They must live there. And protect everyone. Everything depends upon you now. Everything."
He coughed.
"Goodbye Apollo, now I need to rest. Please don't try to save me, I want to rest. I really..."
He never completed his sentence.
Ok, I sometimes hated the wolf, but for some unknown reason, I had to try quite hard to hold back my tears.
Suddenly I felt a jolt of momentum. The altitude seemed to decrease and the tower entered the base.
I walked down the stairs, and I was finally (alive and awake) in the roads of the central branch of the Transoid.
Leander was leaning in front of a wall of a shop and was having an extra-large burger. Father was walking up and down and doing calculations in his hand.
"Hey, dad," I called.
He noticed me and smiled.
"Ugh, well, you have got a lot of things to do. But still, first, congrats. Whatever the case, you need to go to the northwestern Transoid, and create a spaceship for yourself and your team. Don't tell a lot of people about it. Only Leo will come with you. You are going to..."
"Dad." I interrupted. "Wolf king is dead."
I had never seen such a look in his eyes. The fire itself seemed to be raging there.
"That is why," father said. "Promise me you won't spare Saffric."
