Stuart didn't pick himself up from the counter until Rachel found him four hours later.

It was awfully quiet after David left for work.

Stuart usually had his music or games on louder than usual.

But,

it was just silent.

She went to look for him.

Just to find him in the kitchen, shaking.

Right when she placed her hand on his back,

it was warm.

He must've been crying super hard.

She didn't understand anything that was happening.

Stuart felt her hand, still convinced that she was apart of all of this.

He flinched away.

"Stu?" She asked worriedly.

He didn't respond.

He was clearly extremely pissed.

She stood there for a moment.

It would be better if she just left him alone.

At least that's what she thought would be best.

Even though, she wanted to help.

Wanted to know what made him so upset.

Rachel backed away slowly.

"Tell me when you're ready, baby, alright?" She lastly said.

He furrowed his brow.

His face was tired.

His whole body was tired.

He felt his expression.

Why would she say that?

Wouldn't she know?

Is she really that dumb?

She left.

He stayed a few more minutes.

Then he picked his head up.

His head immediately started pounding.

He squinted his eyes.

Stuart didn't even bother taking painkillers.

He felt like going through the pain for some reason.

Punish himself for some reason?

He wouldn't know.

It was hard to get out of the chair.

But he picked himself up.

Started to walk to the front door.

His legs were weak.

He could barely even feel them.

Were they even there?

Stuart didn't even try to tell Rachel he was leaving.

She would know.

So, he went out the door.

Without another word.

It was so hard to lift his head up.

Especially with the sun.

His pounding head.

He walked anyway.

And he didn't have to go far down the sidewalk before Murdoc found him.

It was strange, it's like he was looming around his neighborhood.
