My phone buzzed, I looked at it. I remembered I had to leave at 5:00 am it was currently 2:00 am. I then looked at the notification that was right under it. It was from that stupid app "LoveMatch" I clicked it. "You will meet you soulmate soon" I knew it was all unreal but it kinda made me hopeful. I shook it off and turned my phone off and tried to get as much sleep as I could for tonight. But I couldn't help but think. Could the app even be correct or is it just all shlts and giggles? Maybe it's right and I will meet my soulmate soon. But the real question was exactly when will I meet him? No your being stupid it's just a scam. I thought long and hard. But I eventually fell asleep.

"hey wake up" I heard a guys voice say, I groaned but quickly remembered the long drive we had to make.

"YEAH ARE WE LATE??" I said grabbing my phone and checking the time, it read 4:35 am. I still had 25 mins. I called down a bit, and then my mom came in my room and told me to dress real quick. And to take my pills. As a child I was diagnosed with other ADHD. But it wasn't that bad. I just struggled with paying attention for long periods of time. Like reading books was always a struggle for me.

I quickly threw on comfy black adidas leggings and a F/C hoodie. (F/C = favorite color)

I quickly brushed my teeth threw a beanie on my hair so I wouldn't have to brush or tidy my hair.

I walked outside to see my dad standing by the car with my asleep brother in the back seat and my mom napping in the front. It was 3 hour drive. My dad insisted on driving there early so we could have time to cozy up on the new apartment. And it would be nice and early enough by the time we got there to meet the neighbors.

I quickly put on music and earphones and silently bobbed to music. And soon enough I fell asleep.

I woke up to a jerk in the road. I looked around, the sun was coming up. I saw little shops and houses that followed them.

My music was still playing surprisingly I would've thought that my phone would've died by then. I then heard my dad say something.

"You up?" He said fixing the windshield mirror to face me.

"Yeaahhhh" I said while stretching.

I felt my stomach rumble, I was most likely hungry but I forgot to take motion sickness pills. I felt nauseated, and asked my dad if we could stop to get some water or food.

"Sure we will get some later on but I do have some water here it's not much though" my dad said handing me a half empty water bottle.

"Thanks" I groaned while trying to open the water cap. I felt like shlt.

"We are here!!" My dad said while my mom grabbed her phone and started to get out the car.

I felt it coming, I ran to the trash can that was parked outside and threw up. It was horrible. I felt a bit better after though. My mom handed me some more water that we had in the trunk. I checked my phone it read 8:36 am.

I bolted into the house to explore the rooms. It was a two story house. It had 2 bathrooms, one upstairs and one downstairs. I chose the room that was right next to the bathroom.

My parents settled on the biggest room which was down stairs. And my brother got the room next to mine. I set all my boxes down. It was already furnished so I didn't have to worry about my bed and desk.

I still felt a bit nauseous so I walked outside for a breather.

"Hey honey you can go explore around for a bit if you want you can even meet the neighbors" my mom said with a huge box which I assumed was my box with the pc.

I nodded my head and walked off along the pavement. I walked to the house left of us, the houses were identical. As I walked a bit further down the pavement I heard a voice coming from the house. And it slowly got bigger until a tall blond boy came out the house. I tried to ignore him and keep walking, but he didn't see me and bumped into me.

I felt his body clash with mine. And I landed on the floor with him on top of me. Our faces inches from touching.

"OH MY SHlT!! IAMSOSORRYIDIDNTMEANTO-" the blond yelled in panic.

"It's ok" I said a bit flustered from the sudden event.

As soon as I said that my phone buzzed. But I was too embarrassed to check it.

He got up dusted his pants and reached out his hand. I looked at him and grabbed it. His hands here big and warm. It felt weirdly comforting. But his face was flushed with panic.

"I AM SO SORRY I DIDNT SEE YOU" he said still very flushed.

"It's ok I promise, anyway hi I'm Y/N your new neighbor" I said with my had out to hoping he would shake it back so the situation could be less awkward.

"Oh, hi I'm Tommy Simons" he said still blushing as he shook my hand.

"Your hands are very cold" he said still holding my hand.

"I- yeah it really cold I underdressed" I said blushing like a maniac, I wanted to check my phone but didn't want to seem rude.

"Hey my mom actually sent me out to invite you guys to some dinner but I wasn't sure exactly who I was looking for." He said very politely.

"Oh well then I could bring you over to my parents they sent me off to greet you too." I said trying to make conversation as we walked to my house.

"Hey about that "incident" I'm so sorry about that i should've seen whereiwaswalkingandishouldvebeenpayingattentionididntmeanto-" He was rambling. I cut him off by grabbing his hand.

His face absolutely turned rose red.

"Like I said it's ok" I said. What had gotten into me. Just play it cool. I thought i was sweating. I quickly let go. And we awkwardly kept walking.

We made small talk all the way to my house which wasn't very far but we were walking a bit slow. Until we reached my house.

"This is my house" I said stopping him and signaling him to come. Which he understood and walked to the door. I opened it.

"MOM, DAD!!! COME DOWN THE NEIGHBOR'S KID IS HERE!!!!" I yelled. My mom was the first to come down.

"Why hello, nice to meet you Mr.???" She said.

"Mr. Simons but you can call me Tommy." He said shaking my moms hand with a warm smile.

She signaled him to come in for some tea or a drink. Tommy politely nodded and walked in. I followed.
