Ch. 11 "I'm fine"

                                                              Tony POV 

"Three weeks! she has been missing for three weeks!" I said pacing back and forth, 

"We know Tony we've been looking into it but it's like she vanished without a trace," Clint said 

"Not making me feel better," I said 

"The collage said she's taken a leave of absence to take care of her mother's affairs which they understand she was way ahead in her classes anyway," Nat said 

"Step father doesn't even have a clue," Bucky said 

"She's not even at the place she fixed me up at," I said getting extremely worried 

Sam walks in, 

"Guys I've got something," Sam said 

we all looked at him, 

"Five minutes ago, surveillance picked her up at a floral shop," Sam said 

He showed the screen, she was wearing a hoodie worn out jeans, the hood on her hoodie was up, 

"It seems like she made a big purchase a reef of roses with her mother's name in the middle," Steve said 

"It looks like she's setting up the funeral," Nat said sadly 

"While remaining under the radar," Steve said 

                                      Cody POV 

After ordering the roses, I walked into the library, and used the phone since I can't be traced by this, 

Let's be honest I just feel like I'm on auto pilot, I just want everything to be taken care of, and I'm not really sure what's going to happen after my goal is complete, 

I've been having all these tasks to distract me from the truth, from having another breakdown, 

So I made a few phone calls to arrange the funeral, putting the obituary in the paper, and everything, 

I sighed hanging up the phone, everything was set up, I used the bathroom in the library, then left the building, it was pouring down rain, I had my hands stuffed in my pocket I walked to the abandoned district and walked up to the pay phone, 

I called Peter, 

"Hello?" He said 

"Peter," I said 

"Oh my God Cody!?" He said 

"Everyone has been worried sick about you!" He said 

"I'm fine," I said 

"You don't sound fine, Cody where are you? let me help," He said 

"Don't worry about me, I just wanted to let you know that her funeral is in three days," I said in a blank tone, 

"Cody-" He began I know what he's doing, 

"Goodbye Peter," I said hanging up 

                                 Peter POV 

I ran into the tower, 

"Guys!" I said out of breath, 

"Not now kid," Tony said 

"Cody called me!" I said 

Everyone stopped what they were doing 

"Tell us everything," Tony said
