You stand in front of the mirror checking everything for at least the millionth time. you were frantically panicking. You were just asked out by your all time crush, Xu Minghao. he had just asked you out a week ago and you have been panicking for the rest of the week leading up to this day. But a week seemed just enough time to muster up all your courage to finally confess to him, right? Wrong. But even though you knew that there would be a 1.0% chance of him returning your feelings, you thought that finally letting him know about this would be worth it. you too have been best friends for what, 3 years? You believed it was finally time for him to know your true feelings towards him. Even though you were aware of the major consequences that it would bring to your heart.

After getting out of the bathroom, you immediately text minghao that you'll be at the park, the place in where he asked you out on, in about 15 minutes. As you click 'send', you slip your shoes on and stepped outside, heading towards the park. 15 minutes passed, and you now found yourself at the entrance of the park. You let your foot graze across the soft green floor before stepping inside and looking for a place to settle in while waiting for Minghao.

About 10 minutes go by and your anxieties start to attack. did he set you up? was all this just some lame prank? But you knew his kind and sweet heart would do no such thing. I mean sure he's a natural born savage but he wouldn't go that far, right?

You continue to sit there, waiting impatiently for him to arrive. Just when you wanted to just pack up and leave, a voice called your attention towards them. A voice you knew all too well.

"Hey Y/N! So sorry to make you wait so long!" A tired voice that came along with a man named minghao came running towards you

"Minghao.." You breathed out as your body unconsciously bolted towards him and ended up falling into his arms "I thought you ditched me.." You mumble ever so softly

But minghao heard every syllable that escaped your mouth.

"Hey," He grabbed your chin "I would never ever leave you. You know that, right?" He spoke

"Yeah, I know. Anxious thoughts just love to play with me I guess." You smiled

Minghao softly smiled at you as he pulls you into a soft hug in hopes to rid you from the anxieties that had just attacked you today. You find your arms gripping his waist tightly but softly as you let yourself sink into his warmth. You two stayed like that for a few more minutes until Minghao pulled away first. As he pulled away, you look up to him to see smile that visibly looks like it has been there forever.

"Come with me." He whispered in your ear and grabbed your hand

You allowed yourself to be pulled by him with your cheeks and ears flaring red. you find yourself being lead to a cherry tree somewhere in the back of the park. The more you two stepped closer to the tree, you felt your hopes slowly building up. Seeing the possible positive outcome for all this had your hopes soaring high. But you still knew about the possible negative outcome which is why you had to stop yourself from hoping so much. You were lost in your own head and thoughts as you didn't hear Minghao calling your name.

"Y/N? You alright over there?" Minghao softly asked you as he softly tugged your arm, signaling you to follow him

"H-Huh? Oh yeah, I'm good." You reply as you continue following him

"You sure? You've been spacing out a bit lately.." He asked in a concerned tone as he sat down

"I have?" You ask as you took the spot next to him

"Is something bothering you? You know you can tell me anything, right?" He asked softly

You had paused for a while as you start majorly panicking inside. you took a deep breath as you replied.

"Yeah, I guess so.." You managed to let out these words with slight ease

"Really? What is it?" Minghao asked

"Well crap." You thought

"My feelings towards you.." You spoke in the softest voice ever that's barely audible

But apparently, Minghao just happens to have the best hearing ever as he heard every single syllable alongside with your breathe filled with nervousness.

You expected him to ask you to repeat your statement in which you are already mentally preparing for it but what had happened had left you in awe.

Minghao gently placed his hand beneath your chin to make you face him. Your eyes had fallen deep into his dark chocolate eyes, as if you could see the future with him. He gives you the soft smile that you love so dearly. You can feel your heart running a marathon as he brings you closer to him. he slowly opens his mouth and his soothing voice forms the sentence:

"Y/N, the whole reason why I planned all this, was to ask you. Will you officially be my valentine?"

Your mouthed unconsciously parted open as you were left in shock at what he said. You took a deep breath as a wide smile was already creeping on your face. You slowly nod your head as you slowly lean in closer towards Minghao until your foreheads make contact.

Minghao returns the wide smile before he crashes his lips onto yours. Your eyes widen at the sudden kiss but eventually let yourself sink into this moment. your lips danced amongst each other, clearly showing how much you two have waited for this moment. One of your hands made their way to his soft cheek, softly caressing it while the other rested on his waist. Minghao's hands did the same thing as he pulled you closer and closer towards him. The kiss had only lasted for 30 seconds but to the both of you, it lasted for hours. You pulled away to see a bright smile on Minghao's face that seemed to mirror yours.

As you both continue to smile at one another, admiring the beauty of one another and moment right now, a cherry blossom proceeds to glide towards the both of you. Minghao notices it and immediately reaches out to catch it in his soft hand. The blossom calmly rests on his palm as he offers the blossom to you. you couldn't help but smile and blush at his actions. he takes your hands and places the cherry blossom in the safety of your soft hands.

"Happy valentine's day my sweet cherry blossom." He says as he places the flower in your hands

you look up to him, seeing the blush that has already mirrored yours and you immediately throw yourself into his arms as you hold both him and the flower gently but tightly.

"Happy valentine's day my savage sweetheart." You giggled at the nickname you gave him and he joins along as he then attacks you with tickles.

The two of you laugh like there is no tomorrow, especially you who was being attacked with tickles. As you both calm down from the laughter, you find yourself resting your head on Minghao's shoulder and his head resting on yours. You shyly bring your hand to fit into his. the back of your hand had already grazed upon his. Minghao sees this and immediately giggles at this as he scoops up your hand in his and tangles his fingers with yours. You giggle along and place a soft peck on his cheek as the two of you continue to enjoy this moment. Your eyes then shift to the cherry blossom he gave you and your heart softens. Both your eyes begin to flutter close as you snuggle into each other's warmth, cherishing every single second in hopes that this moment will never end.

Happy Valentines day everyone and a happy carat day to us!!

it has really been a LONG AXE time ever since I last updated something here. I mostly spent my wattpad times just reading hehe

But try not to expect so many updates because online school really LOVES to keep me occupied. So the next update will probably take another while.

But in case you forgot or don't know, these are just re-uploads. I've already written all these imagines but I'm rewriting it because the cringe is too much for me to flippin handle.
