A/N: I attempted to rhyme when I wrote this, not sure how well it turned out. If you're reading this, I am sending you love <3
It's dark outside
There's still work to do
Pain doesn't stop on command
There's so much to know, things you wish you knew.
You would run
But you don't feel like moving
You would leave
But you might be improving.
You wish someone would text
If only to take off your mind
Instead you flip through photos
Next, next,
Of sunny flowers in a field
Of a friend who's been healed
From a physical sickness that is harder than yours
But yours doesn't have a cure.
So you sit where you are
All alone at night
Is this the worst it's been so far?
You won't do your work
Though you know you should
Whatever, who cares, you say with a smirk.
Because you know that this day will be like all the rest
Like you flip through photos,
Next, next.
