The wind blew so delicately in my hair, the smell of the sea and the popcorn from the carnival at the end of the pier got me taking in another breath, all of it giving some liveliness to the place. I could imagine it being just as gloomy and scary doing the colder seasons as it is the epitome of happiness and joy doing summer. People walking around with ice creams in hand, kids fishing for crabs and tourists rushing to catch different cruise ships. it makes me stick my neck out of the window of the car just a bit more, trying to be a part of it all, just a little.
"Now remember Lucia," My father snapped me out of my thoughts with his sharp voice. "You will be representing me and my company on this boat. Don't go around doing stupid shit." His gray eyes peek over the rim of the paper he's reading before going back to focusing on the important piece of information on it.
