Everybody has a secret. Something that they are not willing to share. Well mine is a bit more complicated. They think they know but they don't.  It's been exactly 3 days since my life took yet another confusing turn 'cause apparently the first 14 years have been a lie. yh

***Flashback***
The weird stares never get old, so I'm pretty much used to it. I tried embracing it but how do you embrace hate and disgust?
Yeah, I have no idea too.
It's cause of what they know, at least they think they know, that I got away, escaped. The lucky one out of the two...
Ramon.

Nope, none of this today. No tears, at least not before first period. I approach my locker a small uncontrollable smile forming on my face as I see my best friend, my locker neighbour, Michelle Carter.

"Hey b," I say pulling her into a hug.
"Hey," she replies as I admire her outfit

White off-shoulder blouse, black leggings and black converse with her ash Vans backbag stashed in her locker as long brown hair streaked with blonde falls out of a midway bun.

"How have you been? you look good," she adds. I hold back a laugh because she says this every day.
Every day since the past 2 years. Yeah, moving on is tough.

Me, in black wool jacket with a white camisol, black sweats and black crocs, good.
Yeah that's as good as I get now a days. Plus extra points that I got my hair into a top bun even though there are falling strands.

"Thanks. Slept well. You?"
"Yeah same here. Do yo-" she is distracted by something above my head, a playful grin tugging on her lips but before I have the chance to ask or  even to turn around a pair of muscular hands strap on my waist and giving it a firm grip.
Then he whispers, "hey,"
He reduces his grip on me giving me a chance to turn around and reply
"Hi, good morning b" I know it's a bit weird calling my boyfriend and my best friend the same thing but all I can think of as I stare into his deep brown eyes is "how the hell did I get so lucky?"

"ok lovebirds where is my boyfriend," Michelle states with a teasing voice. But when I hear her erupt in giggles I know she's guy gotten the answer to her question.
"Jay, where's Alec!" Wayne,the cause of Michelle's giggles, asks.
"Right here," he walks down the hallway with a dashing smile and his one sided pimple on his left cheek. That's right ladies and gentlemen, my best friend.
We make our way to home room as he grumbled something about being a fifth wheel.
"You should just date that Riley chick," Wayne says in his failed attempt to make him feel better.
"No way. She looks way to much like Reign and no offence Bells but I would NEVER date you." we all erupt in laughter.
" ha ha," my sarcastic laughter sticking out, "real funny," I say just as we enter the class. I reach my table and there's a folded piece of paper on my table but I'm the only one that noticed cause Wayne has everyone hooked on his "Sky Diving gone wrong," adventure. Thanks a lot Wayne.
I'm a little hesitant cause God knows what could be written, for all I know it could be another fan of Ramon blaming me for his dr death.
I pick it up and see,

"Meet me in the hallway outside the dining hall  15 minutes before the end of lunch.

Joshua Hak  "

Why would Joshua want to meet with me. He was best friends with Ramon and we dated for a while but all that changed after the accident. As Mr. Wright walks into the class, all I can think of is what Joshua could possibly want.
