Avalon's POV

I sat next to the window at the stupid orphanage I'd been stuck in for years. Every day someone walked in the door to adopt a kid, but the kid was never me. Of course. No one wants a ten year old girl who likes video games from 2010 and 2011. No one understands that they're actually good games. Skyrim, Minecraft, Gmod. Jeez, you'd think people would be nicer about old video games. What bothers me is that no matter how hard I try to change, how the world will change, people still will hate. And hate. And hate. See? People aren't adopting a girl who actually cares about something. I just want someone to care about me.

Jordan's POV

I walked into an orphanage. I don't know what I was thinking at the time, but I'm glad I was thinking it. I wanted a daughter. The lady asked me if I wanted a girl or boy child. "Girl." I said. "What age?", said the lady. "7 to 12, I guess", I said. "Okay, that'll do." Said the lady. "All girls ages 7 through 12, come to the main room! Someone's ready to adopt!" I waited till they were all there.

Avalon's POV

I don't know why I bothered walking out into that room. The memories I had there just made me cry. I'd rather not talk about how many people have chosen someone else rather than me. But I cheered up a little when I saw Jordan Frye, my favorite YouTuber! He probably won't adopt me though.
