"Victoria there you are!" i looked around the crowded train station at the mention of my name. I look over a few heads of the people in front of me and see her pushing her way through the crowd.
"Arabella!" i call in response and pull her in for a hug. She grabs my arm and pulls me towards the train doors. I turn around with Arabella's grip tight around my arm and yell to my parents "Goodbye! i'll write!" I see them wave and i turn back around and follow Arabella through the entrance where she leads me to the compartments.
as we walk down the small walkways i run into fred and george. i wave
"hey!" fred says and when i try to get through the pair i bump my shoulder into george's and he swipes the back part of my hair into my face. and i playfully rolled my eyes at his gesture.
we walk to the back of the train and find blaise, theo, and malfoy.
i sit on the side with theo. arabella sits across from me with blaise and malfoy.
"how was your break vic?" theo asked me with his head down popping a bertie bott bean in his mouth. he gagged and spit it out onto the aisle.
"you're disgusting," malfoy scoffed.
"you'd do the same if you got an earwax one!" he taunted back.
"it was interesting," i interrupted, breaking the tention between the too. "plenty of stories for the ride."
"better start now then," blaise shifted in his seat to find a comfortable position between arabella and malfoy.
"well," i began. "i met someone"
all of the guys looked up, intrigued in the lie i just told.
"i'm just kidding, you really thought i would find someone i fancy?"
"well i mean last year there was ad-" tho started but i cut him off
"piss off. he, well i have no idea how i ever fancied him."
i was never the type to want guys. i thought they were stupid and annoying and only for being friends. and occasionally going to the balls with. but i didn't ever seem to be interesting in them.
i'm zoning out at the compartment door thinking of all the reasons why i even fancied this one and this just happened to be a perfect time for him to walk in, adrian. why?! just why?! i look at him and make eye contact. a half smile creeped on my face so i didn't seem like a total bitch to the older years. you never know where it could get me being friends with them.
"mhm," theo teased. and i rolled my eyes at his response.
"ooo then fourth year it was fred weasley!" blaise added after adrian was gone.
"those twins were the only weasleys i would ever stand," he scoffed "they made things intresting. like last year with the fireworks."
"i love their shop too," arabella mentioned "they always have the most helpful things, like the fever and puking things. i'll be using those once or twice this year."
"i think we all will" theo laughed at his statement and gaged on another bean.
"what was it this time" blaise chuckled at theo's reaction.
"mmm i'm not sure. maybe something like grass".
"yumm," arabella said sarcastically.
"positivity delicious," i say "make sure to save me some for next time".
i lay on the window and close my eyes. it was amazing to finally be back here. i could hear the tracks and it brought a sense of peace to me. i was going home.

i woke up on theodores shoulder. why was i asleep on theos shoulder. why didn't he wake me up. i jerk up immediately but still half asleep. and lay my head on my crossed arms on the table.
"look who up," he teased.
"how long was i out for?"
"i'd say about half an hour," blaise answered. "there wasn't any conversation with you asleep though because arabella insisted that you should sleep because you don't get any anymore."
i look up, "thanks" and give arabella a warm smile.
"we're almost there. so it was kind of perfect timing," blaise said.
"perfect, i missed all of your guys boring conversations," i joked.
"ha ha you're just too funny today vic. why don't you just go back to sleep".
i rolled my eyes.
i heard a loud popping noise coming from
behind us and suddenly the whole train car filled with a black fog. everyone stood up but me, i just laid my head back in my arms and only looked up when i said "it's probably just some first year messing around," it got the rest of the group to sit down and when they did i put my head back in my arms.
"you're probably right," arabella agreed.
"hey we're here!" theo exclaimed. he seemed glad to be back too.
i popped my head up just in time to see the castle and looked over at malfoy who simply rolled his eyes.
the train came to a stop and we got up to leave the compartments, "aren't you coming mate?" blaise asked.
"i've got to check something," he said in a low voice.
we all just shrugged it off because it was just malfoy being malfoy.
