Ang isa sa mga katulong ni Raven ay napatingin sa akin at napangiti nang makita ako.
"Agnes!" maligayang bati ni Manang Olivia. If I could still recall her name, she might be Manang Olivia.
"Bakit ngayon ka lang nakadalaw?! Ang tagal na simula nang dumalaw ka, ang ganda mo lalo! Oh, sino 'yang cute na baby na 'yan? Anak mo? Ang cute naman niyang baby na 'yan!" Mabilis na lumapit sa amin si Manang Olivia at nilamutak si Katherine na bahagyang nagising dahil sa ingay sa paligid.
"Halika, upo ka." Aya sa akin ni Manang at pinaupo ako sa tabi ni Ravne. Raven looked at me then smiled before giving his all attention to his daughter.
"Manang, ready niyo po nang kwarto si Agnes, she'll sleep here with her baby. Kasama ko po siya kanina nung tumawag ka, sorry po sa abala." Sabi ni Raven kay Manang at hinele na ang anak niya na nakasandal na sa dibdib niya. They looked so cute together.
"Sige hijo," nilingon ako ni Manang Olivia. "May gusto ka bang kainin? Maghahanda ako ng pagkain niyo. Para kasing hindi pa kayo kumakain eh." Tanong ni Manang Olivia at nang sumagot ako, she nodded before leaving then walked towards the kitchen.
I took my phone out before playing nursery rhymes to caught Katherine's attention because I wanted to talk with Raven but ended up catching his daughter attention. I cutely looked at the gorgeous baby in front of me before smiling at her. She instantly giggled before moving cutely to sit at my lap.
"Levinia's her name." Raven whispered.
Walang nagawa si Raven kung hindi iupo sa kabilang hita ko si Levinia bago umirap na para bang pikon na agad sa akin. I smirked at him before started playing the video for Kath and Levinia to watch. Nakit ko sa peripheral vision ko na umalis na ang katulong sa tabi naming dalawa ni Raven dala-dala ang nebulizer habang may malaking ngiti sa mga labi. That means, we can talk privately now.
"So what actually happened?" bulong ko habang nakikinuod sa dalawang bata na nakaupo sa hita ko. They can sit perfectly now, ang gabay ko na lang ang kailangan.
I heard him sighed. "The week before our graduation, ginabi ako ng uwi noon. Then suddenly, Lucas' friends stopped me, Vianna was one of them. Dinala nila ako sa madilim na lugar no'n then they forced me to drink a liquid thing with drug on it. I ended up high then Vianna and I did it." He whispered while carefully spitting enough words to explain what happened to him.
"I tried finding the reason why they drugged me, I thought it was because of-"
"Danielle?" I cut him off because the reason was completely obvious.
"It was because of you." Raven said the reason casually. Nagulat ako sa sinabi niya. Kumunot ang nook o bago siya nilingon sa tabi ko.
"It wasn't because Lucas liked you, he knew that I was having feelings with you." Raven said shakily. "Agnes, don't feel weird about my confession but it was actually true. He really liked annoying me and if that means attacking our friendship will be okay then he'll do it."
"Agnes, you don't deserve to be a part of this. Even Katherine doesn't deserve someone like him. Stop chasing him and be-"
"What? Be with you? That's ridiculous!" tumawa ako bago siya inilingan. "Then he courted me because he wants to get back to you?!" malakas akong tumawa bago siya sinamaan ng tingin.
"I don't want to lie so it's true." Raven looked down when he saw me about to burst into tears.
"You want to drink with me?" tanong ko habang pinapakalma ang sarili ko.
I'm angry at both of them. I'm angry at Lucas because he deceived me and treated me like a doll like he could always use and I'm angry at Raven because I was a victim of their rival. Then he left me there hanging without saying anything. But my anger can't take away the fact that I wanted someone's shoulder to lean on right now. And I know it'll be Raven's.
