I take a deep breath. Your fine. Utterly fine. I take a bite of the chocolate cover strawberry. Curtesy of Lucas. I hum, standing. Just do it. I walk out the building, not yet removing the door again. I walk over to his cabin, walking in without a second thought. Lucas looks up from the couch. "What did I tell you about knocking?!" He scolds, standing. I shrug. "Open door policy Lucas." I smirk. He sighs, yet smiles at me. "What brings you by?" I hum. "Figured the first person I would see is you. Where's my Son?" He hums. "Uh, Plant is currently playing with Kit." I nod. "Okay... and who's been taking care of my garden?" He hums. "Devin." I exhale. "Thank the gods." He laughs. Before pausing. "David." He sounds serious. I turn to him. "What's up raindrop?" He steps forward. "You look like a mess." I chuckle. "Haven't looked in a mirror for a while." He pats my shoulder. "Well, that's what I'm here for Snowflake." I laugh. "Guess it's only fair." After a while of me cleaning up, we walk to the guild hall. "I don't believe you." I comment. He laughs. "I'm serious!" I roll my eyes. "They would be dead. There's no damn way." He grins as we walk in. "Plant helped me. But they were hand grown." I huff. "If I get food poisoning because of your horrid gardening skills ima murder you." He sits next to Blake. "You won't." Ritchie smiles at me. "Welcome back." I hum. "Whatever you say sparkles." Devin smiles at me. "Feeling better?" I stare at him dully. "I was, and are fine Imagine boy. Don't go worrying about me." Plant runs over. "Dad!" They jump into my lap. I hum. "Hello Plant. It's been a while." The table awed as they hug me, smiling. I pat their back gently. Before they pull away. "What's wrong Plant?" All attention was on us. Plant frowns, eyes unfocusing. "Blood." Is all they say. I glance down. Shit. I stand, sitting Plant by Kit. "I'll be back." I slide into the kitchen, looking at my arms. Fuck. Should have known. I rest my hand on my leg, freezing it lightly. I hiss. I slide down the wall to sit. I don't think I was ready yet. I clench my hand into a fist, before hitting my forehead. Idiot. I push myself to stand, before walking around the corner. Lucas catches me and o glance over. He stands, walking over to me. He eyes me. "You weren't ready were you?" I shake my head. "I'm sorry you have to deal with this." He smiles softly. "It's fine, really. Look. You can go back home okay? I can bring by some new chocolates later. How does that sound?" I exhale. "Like your a fucking god admugst Men." He laughs, patting me softly. "You'd do the same for me. Really. Just go." He gestures. I nod. "Thank you Lucas. Really."

Lucas pov~
I walk back into the guild hall silently, sitting. Damn. I ran out too. "Where's David?" Brandon questions. I sigh. "He wasn't ready to come back yet." Devin frowns. "I hope he's okay..." I tap the table. "He'll be fine." I glance at Ritchie. "I might have to go for a bit tho." He nods. "Where you going?" I sigh. "Australia." A series of gasps. "You going where?" Blake snaps to me. I hum. "Australia." Brandon snickers. "How do you plan to get there?" I shrug. "I have my ways. But there's a specific plant that grows there that you can't find anywhere else. Can't grow it anywhere else either, conditions are very hard to reach." Devin hums. "Why exactly do you need this plant?" I sigh. "Can't go into detail, but it's for David." Devin blinks. "Can't I just... imagine it up?" I hum. "No. With all due respect Devin, you can't imagine things like this. Their just not the same." I bite my lip. I stand. "Anyway, it's a long trip, I'll be going now." I wave, walking off.

David's pov~
I wrap around my pillow when I hear something shatter. I sit up quickly. "David?" Who....? Lucas? "Your door.... shattered." He calls. "I'll just leave this on the counter..." I creep down the stairs, seeing him looking at the shards. "How do I fix this...?" He whispers. I hide myself in the blanket. "I'll fix it." He turns to me. "Ah sorry. I left your delivery on the counter." I nod. "Yeah.... I heard." I keep my voice low. He smiles at me. Should I say anything about how late he was? "I had to go get some more so they should be fresh." I chuckle. "Thanks Lucas, really." He leans on the door. "Anything else you'd like?" I puase, glancing out the door. "Does he care?" Lucas follows me gaze before noding. "He... He's been worrying a lot. Scared your hurt." I look at Lucas, tearing up. "I am. I am... so hurt. And you need to stop me before I take it to far." His eyes widen. He walks to me. "Can I touch you?" I nod. He takes my hand, grabbing the bag off the counter. Before he takes me upstairs. "Here." He hands me a chocolate bar. I sit back, watching him patch up my wounds. "I'm sorry you have to deal with me." I whisper. He chuckles. "Your you David, I really don't mind. I know if anything were to happen, you would do the same for me." He looks up at me. I exhale, chuckling weakly. "Your almost never a mess like I am though." He shrugs, sitting and looking at me. "Your my best friend dude. I don't care if your a mess or not." He pats my shoulder. "You wanna talk about it?" I look down. "They like each other Lucas." He tilts his head. "What?" I glance to my window. "Ritchie and Devin." He nods. "Yeah... I noticed that." I tear up. "It's always Ritchie. Why does Ritchie get him? What if I wanted him?" I whisper. He looks at me softly. "Hey, come on. Maybe he will come around." He rubs my shoulder. I look down. "And if he doesn't?" Lucas sighs. "Then it wasn't ment to be. Your going to find your soulmate one day David. Whether it's Devin or not." He smiles softly at me. "You'll find them. And they'll make you happier then anyone will ever know." I laugh weakly, leaning into his chest. "Thank you Lucas. Really." He hums. "No problem David." He chuckles, patting my back. I don't deserve him... and yet, he's here anyway.
