After a few weeks of this, Banquo and Macbeth's wives met to discuss their husbands' activities.

They discovered that they had been leaving and returning to their houses about the same times, after some discussion, they decided to confront their spouses.

The next night, as usual, both women went to go to bed, and Macbeth and Banquo left their houses silently. However, this time the ladies slowly emerged from their bedrooms, and went to their cars.

They crept along behind their husbands, and pulled into a parking lot a block or so away from the bar that their husbands had entered.

Both women entered the bar several minutes after their spouses, and sat down on the far end of the bar.
