LITTLE VOICES INSIDE

To my teenage self, the present me
Hi! Hope you're doing fine
The world is full of problems and so am I
I, you, we! And it is we who will take the responsibility

Problems, it's present anywhere
That even how careful we are, it is always there
The more we avoid it,
The more we encounter different kinds of conflicts

Do you have a problem?
Don't say no because even a young child do have
Well it's easier to say that we're okay rather than enumerating them
Problem to be solve, puzzle remains to be unsolved

Family, friends and others
You, us, even ourselves
They say we're preoccupied
Well those problems keep us tied

War, between ourselves
Standards, that never ends
Judgement, we received
From the mistakes we've committed

Silence! My inner self shouted
Noise, it's all what I heard
Darkness, I'm so frightened
Shed some light, that's all what I wanted

They say think, out of the box
But in this cell, we are locked
They say stand, forget the past
But it is where I belong, and I am stuck

I say leave me alone! It's my wish
But now longing for unknown, I'm so foolish
Ha! That was funny
But I don't get it like seriously?

Problem, that's me!
Burden, that's what others see me
Weak, young and dumb
But in these words, I felt numb

Are you sure those words really describes me?
Yes I'm weak, but those weaknesses strengthens me
I'm young, unknowledgeable
But at least I don't use my mind to cause someone to fall

Gifted, that's who I am
Giving, that's what I've done
I'm too harsh, yes I am
Sorry self for what I've done

This is me and no one can change me
I am worthy and someday you'll see
Wake up self, stop resting in me
It's time to move and start our journey
