Victory Tour

I walk up to the justice building of District. I see all of the citizens. I see Rue and Threshs Parents. Peeta reads the card but then puts it down, and finishs it off himself. When we were about to leave I look out to Rue's Mom and siblings. I walk up to the microphone and say," I didn't know Thresh I only spoke to him once. He could have killed me but instead he showed me mercy. And that's a debt I will never be able to repay." I look over a Rues family and say," I did know rue. She wasn't just my ally she was my friend. I see her in my sister Prim. She was too young....too gentle. And I couldn't save her. I'm sorry."

An old man in the crowd whistles rues four note song and hold up the district 12 salute. Everyone else copies him. The peacekeepers take the old man and drags him up to the stage while they drag me into the building with Peeta. Just before they close the door a gun goes off. The man lay there dead.

We we're already done with all the districts. Now it was time for the capitol. I am sitting at the table hold my 3 month old stomach that is showing very little. Peeta comes and sits by me. Haymitch and Effie are sitting across from us while they eat as we eat. I didn't really want to go to the Capitol because snow was going to be there. We show up at the Capitol right when I get done eating. I go to Peeta and mines bedroom to change into something that can cover my barley showing stomach. I put on this black dress with red feathers to cover my stomach enough the keep from showing. Peeta is dressed in a black tux. Peeta and I walk up to the Capitol building with Effie. All of Panem is standing outside. I look up when I hear the voice of a mad man and the smell of blood. President Snow. Standing there with a rose in his shirt. He looks at us and congratulates us on our marriage , but he notices that I am pregnant. I pet my stomach trying to tell him not to hurt my baby. He nods but then mouths you have impressed me. Now impress the citizens of every district on panem.

Plutarch comes up to Peeta and I and congratulates us on our marriage then walks away but then looks back and stares at my stomach like her noticed. I turn around quickly and tell Peeta and Effie it is time to go. Effie asked," What's wrong Katniss? Are you okay? Is the baby okay?" I nod but I tell her," I want to leave because I don't feel good."

We hop back on the train and go back to district 12. I go into my room and change into my normal clothes. On hour passes and I go back into my house and Peeta goes back into his. As I walk in Mom and Prim look at me and smile. I pet my stomach that is now 4 months pregnant. Prim walks up to me and says," Katniss you look beautiful." I look over and her and say," Really?!" Mom walks over and lays her hand on my stomach and says,"absolutely." When all of a sudden something weird happens in my stomach. I looked up and smiled at Mom whoms hand was still on my stomach. The baby just kicked. Prim gasps and asks me ," C-can I feel?" I nod. She lays her hand on my stomach and the baby immediately kicks. Prim smiles and hugs me. I already new she would make a perfect aunt!
