I nod and he walks out of my room leaving

as I made it downstairs there was a knock on the door
I opened it and saw mattia
jordan: what are you doing here
I ask visibly annoyed by his presence
mattia: it's my day to pick him up..?
I check my phone and realized it is his day
jordan: oh shit my bad I completely forgot come inside real quick
he does as told and closes the door behind him as I go grab mateos bag
I come back and hand it to him
mattia: where were you headed
jordan: on a date
he just nodded and tapped his foot awkwardly before opening the door
we both left out and went our separate ways
I drove to the restaurant derek chose to go out to eat
I got out of my car and enter the restaurant going to where derek was seated
derek: wheres mateo
jordan: with his father
we had small talk before the waitress finally came over
as she took our orders I noticed she kept eyeing derek a lot
I would've said something but I decided to ignore it
time skip
as derek was paying the bill our waitress slipped him a piece of paper with a number on it
he looked at it for a second before putting it in his pocket
I thought that would've made me upset but it didn't bother me at all
