Chapter 5.2: Silent Conversations
=Will Boomer's POV=
"Okay class, kumuha na kayo ng isang buong papel. You all studied last night, I believe?" That's Miss Harriet. English teacher namin.
Tinignan ko c Nico. He's seated just behind me. =___=
"Mr. de Lune! Natutulog ka na naman??" ~ Miss Harriet
He opened his eyes widely. Heh. He's startled.
"Uh... Yes Miss. I mean no, Miss." •___• ~ Nico
I bet he didn't study. (siiiiiighhhhh) -.-
The whole class laughed. Oi. What is their problem?
"I said, prepare a sheet of paper! Hurry up." Nakakatakot naman yung mukha ni Miss. =~=
"Yes Miss." T ~ T Kawawa naman cya.
"Okay class. Let's start." Miss Harriet said as she went back to her table.
I studied well last night. I listened to soothing music so that I could concentrate the given lesson to study.
"Aray ko!" I heard Nico say. I turned my head to look at him.
"Nyenyenyenyenye...." a classmate of mine is teasing Nico.
= - = I see another one, Randie, the bald guy throwing crumpled papers at him.
Randie, tigilan nyo nga yan!
And as if he read my mind, Randie looked at me. And made that 'make me' face. And raised his eyebrow.
0___0 I shouldnt have looked back. Pero binubully nila yung bradder ko!
I just continued answering the questions on the board. What are the two things needed especially when making a direct speech? Oh. That's easy.
"Psst... Will... Will....!" ~ Nico
Nakakainis naman o. Malapit na 'kong matapos. I tore a small piece of paper from my notebook and wrote a big 'WHAT' on it. I passed the paper to Nico, then continued answering. What is the difference between an indirect speech from a direct speech? This is easy. ^^
Nico poked me. He gave me the paper. 'ANONG GUSTO MONG KAININ NGAYUNG RECESS? TRUST ME, I WILL TREAT YOU.' -__-
'ARE YOU EVEN ANSWERING?! OH YE, VEGGIE SANDWHICH.' binigay ko yung papel sa kanya
Yes! Last number na! I'm so lucky today. That was too easy. ^u^
'NA NAMAN? YEP, I GOT A LOT OF BLANK ANSWERS THO. BUT SOME ARE ANSWERED'
"Okay class! Review your answers. You only got 3 minutes." ~ Miss Harriet
Alright. Number one, it seems right. Two, ay mali yung spelling! Erase erase erase! Three, correct. Five.... blah blah blah... parang number 3 lang ang mayroong wrong spelling / maling sagot
Oh. I almost forgot. 'OO. VEGETARIAN KC AKO E. IKAW, MEAT ROLL NA NAMAN.' I passed the paper to him
I turned my head to show him my 'annoyed face'. But I didn't succeed.
As he read the paper, ngumiti cya. A very sincere one.
Who knew he would look so charming when he smiles like that?
Wait. What the heck am I thinking about. =___=
And suddenly... KRRRRRIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIINGGG!!!!!!!!!!!
The bell. My ears. Ouch.
"Pass your papers now, finished or unfinished." ~ Miss Harriet
We all did as we're told. Cguradong makakuha ako ng perfect score! ★w★
"Good bye, class." ~ Miss Harriet
We all stood up "Good bye and thank you Miss Harriet." o ha? synchronized yung boses ng mga kaklase ko.
But I didn't actually say anything. I was whispering as I said good bye to Miss Harriet.
It makes me kinda sad. I do my best not to say anything out loud. If I do, I'll only hurt the people I love. •~•
"O, bket ka naman nakasimangot jan?" ~ Nico
I squinted my eyes. =__= "Wala lang..."
He pinched my nose.
OUCCHCHHHCHCHCHCCHCH!!!!
"An sakit nun a..."
"Sorry. C'mon, let's go eat some snacks." ~ Nico ;)
I simply nodded and went outside the classroom.
