I know there are much worse things happening in the world at the moment and that this is a pretty small issue compared to other side effects of the pandemic but it's one of the biggest things to happen to me in a while. The issue is made worse with the fact that both of my parents work all day. My mom, like said previously, is a healthcare worker, she works in the kitchen as chef and because of the virus she's had to pick up a lot more shifts and ends up staying at work later. I know what she does is essential and she's really needed there because of how short staffed they are but it ends up just being me and my four cats at home unless my sister decides to visit. The only things I look forward to at this point are my neighbors inviting me to hang around with them and my sister coming home to visit. Because of how things are at the moment both of those things tend to be scarce and happen rarely.
