"Hey mimi, I expected you to still be putting your stuff away with your slowpoke self" We both laugh

She makes her way to me and we give eachother a hug...

"Ready for our next class?"

"Nope but let's go" I decline

We both laugh and make our way in the crowded hallways to our next class

We standing outside in line waiting for our english teacher Mr.Brown to let us in, Moon and I are catching up and making jokes when Demetri and Eli approach us.

We greet one another while Eli won't stop looking at me, I feel the knot in my stomach. It's a pleasant feeling but weird.

"Welcome student" Everyone walks in

"Eli and Mia please stay behind for a second"

"Yes Mr. Brown" I ask

"So kids as you know we're doing the system for Eli, well turns out he's missing a lot of quizzes and if he wants to pass this quarter he would have to get them done today" Mr Brown drags the "today"

"Oh does he?" I look at Eli in confusion

Eli mouths "sorry"

"So Mia that means you'll guys have to head to the library into the quiz room which you guys won't be bothered by anyone and help him finish the quizzes. I talked to your next classes teachers you guys might not make it but they understand why." Mr. Brown explains

I nod my head while Eli gives a quick handshake to Mr Brown and I have my binder in my hand with a stack of papers that Mr. Brown handed me to do with Eli.

"Here let me help you" Eli reaches over and grabs my binder and stack of papers.

"It's- thank you" I smile at him

We head to the library and make our way into the quiz room. A decent sized room with 4 walls and one windows, a table in the center of the room with 2 library chairs not the most comfortable but we have to work with it. Eli takes a seat and hangs his bag on the corner of the chair, while placing my binder and stack of papers on the desk. I take a seat across from Eli placing my bag next to the desk leg letting it lean. I scoot in my chair and Eli mocks my motion scooting in his chair.

It had been silent for a moment until I asked him to pass me my binder.

"Eli can you hand me my binder?"

"Here" Eli hands me my binder

I open my binder onto my agenda looking through old assignments to see where can Eli and I begin with. I set my binder to the side, I feel as though Eli is watching me. I look up to him staring at me in a admiring way. I get flustered and feel the same feeling in my stomach, the knot.

"What happened" I nervously laugh

"Oh nothing" Eli breaks his look

"Okay...aha We can start in your project you missed last quarter. It's a quick paper about the good and bad in people" I smile at him

"Do you think i'm a good person?" Eli ask

"Hm?" I'm in confusion when Eli questioned me

"Do you think i'm a good person Mia" His tone got serious

I take a second to take in the question knowing well whatever I say will come out the wrong way, If I say yes he will doubt my answer knowing his "bully reputation" and if I say no could be possible he will grab me by the arms and throw me across the room.

"Answer the question Mia" Eli says my name slowly while leaning on the desk

"I think you're a wonderful person" I whisper looking down

"Look me in my eyes and tell me" Eli demands

I take a few seconds the knot in my stomach got tighter and the feeling grew

"Now Mia" His voice has rage in it

"I think you're a wonderful person" I look up and quickly say after getting the courage to get the words out of my mouth.

He leans back on his chair and smirks.

"What?" I'm confused

"It's fun seeing you turn into a nervous wreck, your chest is all red, breathing for harder, I can hear your little heart beat from where i'm sitting." He snickers

"God you're suck a jerk" I grab try to reach for my bag but he seemed to get before me

"Sit down Mia" my bag is under his chair

"No, you can finish your work by yourself I can find another way to get my credits" I walk towards him to reach for my bag

"I said sit down Mia" Eli stands up quickly from his chair now standing tall above me

Slowly I get back up without touching my bag, I'm now at his level although he's taller than me so I still stand lower then him regardless.

"Go" Eli nods his head toward the chair I was previously sitting on

I didn't know what I was feeling at the moment. I just know the knot in my stomach had exploded which caused the feeling to travel all throughout my body, making me feel tensed and hot. When I was looking up at him it was like a feeling of dominance on his end. Never in a million years did I think I was going to be obeying Eli Moskowitz.

I sat down in the chair and scooted myself in as he slowly slouched on his chair. I can feel his legs extended between my legs. The papers are all scattered on the table. I reach over the rubric for the paper I was previously telling him about. His eyes never left me, every moment they followed. Our breathing had matched and paced at the same time. We mirrored each other's actions, he sighed I sighed, he made eye contact, I made eye contact, He crossed his arms and so did I. It was as if we were in sync. Eli Moskowitz.
