"Clank, Bobble!" It was then we took notice of the ice maker and saw that it was down to the last few bits of ice, barely enough to keep Periwinkle cool. They all tried and tried to get it to keep running but it just wasn't shedding enough ice

"Quick grab some pieces of ice and wrap them around her wings!" exclaimed Tink. Silvermist then quickly grabbed a large leaf while Clank grabbed two pieces of ice. Together both he and Tink wrapped Perri's wings up to keep them cool.

"We have to get you back to the border before your wings break forever." I said urgently.

"But—what about your mother?" She said to me faintly.

"Meeting my mother will have to wait, we have to hurry before it's too late, Tink, Vid you guys carry her, everyone else we've gotta push this thing as fast as we can".

"Alright".

"On it".

"You got it (y/n)." I got various responses and soon it was a race to get Periwinkle back to the border before it was too late.

It was starting to get cloudy as we all pushed the snow maker towards the border as fast as we could while Tinkerbell and Vidia carried Periwinkle underneath the snow. Finally we managed to get to the border and both Tink and Vid crossed it and untied the leaf gently allowing her wings to come out.

It was then a giant snowy owl landed on the ground and soon a man came off the owl wearing a blue tunic with a cape made out of snow owl feathers. I had heard and read stories about the ruler of the Winter Woods and I knew that we were now in the presence of Lord Milori.

"Please can you help her?" Tink asked desperately. Lord Milori raced up Periwinkle and knelt down beside her. Vidia called Tinkerbell back to our side of the border and we just watched anxiously as Lord Milori stared down at Perri's wings. He then helped her stand up and told her to gently open her wings and let the cold surround them.

She did as she was told and we watched as her wings began to regain their strength and soon she was able to flutter off the ground and fly again.

"Oh you're okay! Your wings are okay." Tink rejoiced.

"Yeah." Perri stated happily.

"This is why we do not cross the border." stated Lord Milori as he looked towards Tink who looked down in shame.

"No it could've worked, we just needed a bigger piece of ice." stated Perri.

"And when that was gone, your wings could've broken". Lord Milori said.

"But they didn't, I'm fine. Thanks to them". The Lord of the Winter Woods turned towards us and said.

"The rule is there to protect you, I'm sorry. You two must never see each other again". It was then he began to walk away. Vidia tried to get Tink to move but she refused and told Lord Milori that they belonged together, that they were sisters because they were born of the same baby laugh. But Lord Milori said that that was also another reason on why they should keep each other safe.

Because family will be willing to do anything for family, even if it meant breaking their hearts in the process.

Tink told him that it didn't matter what his rule was, they would still try to see each other but it was then another voice spoke out.

"Tinkerbell," we all turned and looked up but I mainly wanted to hide for flying down towards us was my mother, Queen Clarion. "This is not Lord Milori's rule, it's mine".

"Mother—"

"I am sorry (y/n) but this is how this must be". With that both Tink and Perri were forced to say goodbye to each other. They gave each other one last hug before Perri took off flying first deeper into the Winter Woods then Tink flew off back home with our friends following behind her. "Come (y/n), we must return home".
