Why frown when you can smile?

There is no reason for me to feel like this he wasn't my boyfriend or anything for that matter and I was nothing to him either but I couldn't help to feel the pang in heart as I watched them. Just as I was beginning to calm down he did one something that made me go into full rage mode, he winked at me. The nerve of that guy. I turned around and reminded myself to calm down. 'Chill Sky.'

I was so in thought that I did not notice Tyler come next to me. "Sky? Earth to Sky." He waved a hand in front of my face to catch my attention. "Huh?" I asked wondering what he he had said. He laughed "Are you alright?" He questioned. "Never better." I answered smiling. Why frown when you can smile, right? He smiled back completely oblivious to the ranting in my head just a few minutes ago.

Tyler helped me with the crutches, my armpits hurt from the pressure. They were surprisingly uncomfortable and I was going to have to get used to it whether I liked it or not seeing that I was going to have to use them for the following six weeks.

"Come on, I'll take you to first period." He proposed after letting me rest on a bench for a few minutes. "No, you'll be late to your class." I retorted knowing that he didn't really care whether he was late or not but still he was bound to do something that would eventually make me embarrassed. "It's alright, I don't mind." He insisted."Thanks." I said kissing his cheek once more. I could feel eyes on me and I turned to see that Toby was staring at Tyler with a weird expression on his face and his hands in fists. 

"Besides, there's a chick that I banged and  I don't want to face her right now." Tyler added whispering in my ear. I turned to look back at him and laughed. He took me to Pre-calculus just like the first day and even went in with me to get a pass from Mr.Henderson. He helped me get into my seat, which was embarrassing once the class came in and stared. I kissed his cheek once more in gratitude.

"I'll see you later, Sky!" He called as he headed for the door. Tyler was leaving as Toby was coming and I saw Tyler freeze. Actually they both stayed in place and they shared a weird look. "I'll see you later Ty" I yelled at him to catch his attention, Toby was looking intimidating and I was scared for Tyler. It worked and Tyler looked up at me, smiled and winked before leaving.

Toby just went and sat next to the blond that he had been with this morning. She was Angel, very pretty but a complete slut and trust me there was nothing angelic about her whatsoever. The girls, Mikayla, Mary and Chloe had given me all the info about her and her little group of followers. She had a gang of sluts and of course she was the leader. There was a feud between the two girl groups and seeing that I hanged out with Mikayla, Mary and Chloe that made me one of their targets. Toby was keeping her busy and away from me so I guessed I could thank Toby for something after all.

Mr.Henderson started the lesson and I concentrated on what he was teaching us, not that I really cared about it, but it helped to stop me from staring at Toby. A note landed on my desk and I opened it, it read 'Are you alright?' I looked up and saw Alec staring at me.He was cute with his blue eyes and brown hair but not really my type. Actually, I don't have a type but still he was dating Chloe and they looked really good together not to mention the fact that they made each other happy. 

'I'm great' I wrote and threw it back at him when Mr.Henderson turned his back to us. I smiled at him just to prove it and he smiled back. He threw it back to me 'Hey I need a huge favor.' 'What's up?' I asked and threw the note almost getting caught as Mr.Henderson turned back unexpectedly. Thankfully Alec caught it before the teacher did. 'I'll tell you after class.' He wrote.

The bell rang after shortly and Alec came over to me to help me up. "I don't see why you need to help her she obviously just wants attention.I bet that leg isn't even broken." A nasally voice said behind me, it was Angel. Alec ignored her and kept walking towards me. I put up a hand to stop him and I stood up and grabbed my crutches then turned to look back at Angel.
