- Morgan! Dinner's ready come on.
My dad's screaming.
I put on a joggers and I go downstairs to eat.
- Hi sweetie. Did you do your homework?
- Hi mom. Yes. Um mom, dad?
They answer at the same time.
- Yes?
- There's a party tomorrow at Liz's. Can I go?
- But what about our Saturday evenings in family?
- Mom please. I'm not a kid anymore. Dad, please.
- Fine. But you don't get back home late and you don't drink.
- Just one drink?
- Fine but not two!
- Thanks dad.
We start to eat. My mom did turkey, potatoes and salad.
- That's delicious mom.
- Thanks sweetie.
- Could you pass me the salt?
- Here you are.
Everything is fine. We finish the dinner. We talk a lot. Then I go back in my bedroom.
I call Liz.
- Hi. Guess what.
- Tell me.
- My parents finally said yes to go to your party.
- Seriously? Awesome. You'll see there will be a lot of people and especially boys...
- I'm not coming to flirt. I just want to have fun at my first party.
I laugh.
- Don't worry, we will have a lot of fun.
- I hope. I have to study but see you tomorrow at school!
- Yeah bye.
