2 Story Ideas

Hello, I'm back with story ideas ('∀｀*)

So I guess I'll just start explaining them lol. There's two and one of them has a bit more detail than the other but there's still lots of room for inputting your own creativity of course.

I'll do the short one first. Basically it's just two characters who are in different timelines and you jump between them. I was also thinking that at some point the two characters would meet somehow.

To those who know about the movie Kimi No Na Wa, it would be something similar to this. So the two characters would somehow be communicating and then I guess eventually realize they're actually living in times that are years apart? OR as another sort of example, the show The Witcher. For this one, there's one character that's sort of living in the present and then there's, I guess, "flashbacks" to the other character and eventually the timelines catch up to each other and the characters meet. A bit of a complex idea but it's there for anyone who wants it (＾ｰ^) (also as a side note, I TOTALLY recommend Kimi No Na Wa. Such a great movie)

The second idea was inspired by the song Ai no Scenario by CHiCO with HoneyWorks (I definitely recommend the song by the way. IT'S SO AWESOME IMO AND THE MUSIC VIDEO IS JUST *chef's kiss*). MC was, like, a royal in their previous life and they weren't very happy with their life (maybe arranged marriage like in the song?). MC is friends with a commoner and one night, the character comes to take MC away, to have them run away with them so that MC will be happier. Whatever happens to them is up to you BUT that's MC and the character's previous life. The actual story revolves around their current lives (they've been reincarnated) in modern times. The two characters meet, maybe they're friends, whatever suits your liking, and MC keeps having dreams about their previous life. Somewhere during the story, they realize who the character is and that they actually "know" each other. Everything after that is up to you d(￣ ￣)

The last time I gave away an idea, I had said it was because I felt like I wasn't gonna have enough time to write all my ideas. This is still kinda true but my feelings have also changed since then. I've realized I don't actually enjoy writing on Wattpad as much as I used to. I've, I guess you could say, "disliked" Wattpad for a couple of years now. The stories just aren't really for me and I barely read here anymore (despite having a library full of books that I'm saving for later lol). And now I'm starting to realize the actual writing and publishing part isn't as magical as it used to be either.

That's not to say I don't like writing. I love it and I actually write elsewhere now. I've found that I enjoy not only the platform more but also the stories I write. Writing my ideas here can be fun and enjoyable but sometimes it also feels so...forced? Like I have to keep updating because I have to and not so much because I want to? And I don't like feeling like that (for obvious reasons, I'm sure). Writing is supposed to be a hobby, an outlet, a way for me to escape from reality for a bit.

This doesn't mean I'm planning on leaving anytime soon. I've still got 11 ideas I think would be better suited here than the other platform, so I'll still be around for a while. But as I'm sure you can tell, 11 is quite a lot less than the 31 I had before which I mentioned in the other story idea chapter. And there's always a possibility more ideas will be given up or scrapped altogether (there were a few I realized were just too...no).

But anywho, those are my ideas. Feel free to take them if you want. Or not. But I recommend the movie and song regardless (^-^)v
