Connor kent x reader one shot

You were in your room like every night, doing what you always did. listening to music while you ate a slush cup( slushy/slush puppy whatever you call it) it was a wired thing, but it didn't take away from how relaxing it was to you. You, in the dark the only light source being your phone, your earbuds in silenced the outside world while you ate the delicious icy drink.what was there not to like about it?. Connor took notice to your sudden disappearance at the stroke of ten every night, and got curious as to why. since only you, M'ggan him and Kaldur actually lived in mount justice it wasn't hard to notice.

He took a liking to you as soon as he met you, both you and him shared a likeness and connection nobody else could ever reach. He always found his tenseness drop at the sight of you. his anger, disappears at the sound of your voice. At night gust before he falls asleep, he would cancel out every other noise to hear the sound of your heartbeat, it always made him smile.you always made him smile and he couldn't deny it.

The day was like any other you Connor and Kaldur sat on the couch while M'ggan was putting her freshly baked cookies into containers.the clock stroke 10 and not a second later you were on your feet "I'm going to go lay down Guys, I'll see you tomorrow" you grabbed your slush maker from the freezer filling it with (juice of your choice) , and leaving the room "goodnight y/n I hope you sleep well" kaldur said his goodnights as well as Connor and M'ggan to which you responded with "thank you",and "good night".

you headed to your room and close the door and within 20 minutes of that Connor got up too, M'ggan was first to notice. "are you going to bed too Connor?" Connor nodded and bid his fair well's to the pair as he headed to the hallway of bedrooms.

You're smile took over his thoughts and before he new it he was on your doorstep. He knocked once. your little sign to let you know it's him, you kept one earbud out expecting him. He opened the door with a slight creek the light from the hallway lit up the room, Connor could make out you on your bed using your blanket as a stand for your phone. You're hair in a messy bun while you sat in your(f/c) t shirt and shorts "Hey Connor is anything wrong?" You asked with concern quite evident.

"Oh uh no I gust had something I wanted to ask you, why do you always leave so early?" You giggled and he farrows his brows "did I say something wrong...or funny?" He questioned both you and himself. "Oh no, you didn't say anything wrong. in fact it's a valid question...come here" You pat your bed motioning for him to sit next to you, he closes the door and sat in the space you patted moments ago.
