They entered the Gallagher house laughing and play fighting. The rest of the Gallaghers saw them and looked at them funny because they knew they were just getting in seen as it was only like 8 in the morning.

Ian, feeling the uncomfortable energy, just continued walking into the kitchen, knowing Mickey will follow, asking "Any coffee left?"

"Yeah," Debbie said as she moved to shovel eggs onto Franny's plate. Ian grabbed out two mugs and held one out to Mickey with a questionable look on his face, Mickey nodded and Ian proceeded to fill the mugs.

"Any eggs left for me?" Mickey asks looking around, clearly hungry.

"No. Where were you guys? You never came home," Debbie said in a matter of fact way.

Mickey just looked at Ian. Ian knew the look meant it's your sister, you answer. So Ian reluctantly answered, "Uh...we went out,"

"Yeah no shit," Carl says as he continues to look at his phone and shovel eggs in his mouth.

"Like on a date, date?" Lip asks getting up to refill his mug with more coffee.

"Yeah, we went to that nice restaurant a few blocks down, it was nice.." Ian answered trailing off.

"Fucking people were giving us some weird ass looks," Ian looked across the room at Mickey, who was now sitting at the table with a piece of toast, and smiled. Mickey looked back at Ian as though he was looking for reassurance, Ian nodded.

"I guess you just never see two men going on a date in the southside of Chicago," Lip said as he watched Mickey and Ian silently communicate from across the room.

"What about the rest of the night?" Debbie asks.

Ian just looks at Mickey again. "We went to a park..."

"It was fun" Mickey said with a smirk on his face as he stared at the table.

Lip looked again from Ian to Mickey then back to Ian again. "Wow really, you guys?"

"I'd never done it in a park before," Mickey said blushing slightly as he continued to examine the table. Ian was shocked Mickey had said something but then smiled at the fact that he was comfortable enough to say it to a whole room of people.

"Alright Mick!" Sandy says slapping Mickey on the back. "I gotta go. See y'all later!" she says, exiting through the back door. Ian walked around to the table in the now empty seat next to Mickey. He plucked the toast from Mickey's hand and took a bite, Mickey grabbed it back and smiled.

"Mickey you got Franny and Liam today?" Debbie as she moved her dish to the sink and prepared to leave.

"Yeah, got nothing fucking better to do," Mickey saw Ian giving him major look and a smirk out of the corner of his eye.

"I don't need to be babysat!" Liam protests.

"Well, I guess not you. But Mickey will be home if you need anything," Debbie says grabbing the last of her things and heads out the doors saying goodbyes as she goes.

"Yo! Can you take Fred too?" Lip says getting up.

"Yeah well I guess so," Mickey says watching Lip as he moves about the kitchen.

"Uncle Mickey's daycare!" Ian announces waving his hand like he's displaying a sign and laughing.

"Fuckhead," Mickey says. Ian gets up too leaving Mickey, Franny, and Liam at the table.

"That's actually not a bad idea. Debs used to run a daycare here during the summer. She made some good money," Lip says pulling a pair of jeans from the dryer.

"We could use the money, Mick," Ian says drinking the last of his coffee.

"I'm not a fucking housewife," Mickey says getting up and grabbing the remaining dishes on the table and brought them to the sink.

"Ok whatever. Think about it though, you're really good with kids." Ian winks and kisses Mickey goodbye. Ian and Lip leave the house leaving Mickey with Fred, Franny, and Liam.

"Alright why don't you guys watch some TV while Uncle Mickey cleans up from breakfast," Mickey says motioning for Franny to follow him into the living room. He turned the TV on to the kids channel and then moved the pack n' play Freddie was in closer to the TV so he could see. Mickey then went back into the kitchen to do the dishes.

"What you gonna do today dude?" Mickey asked Liam as he cleaned.

"I don't know. I gotta get my rent money though," Liam says not looking up from his phone.

"Shit man. I don't know how to help you. That fucking security thing Ian and I were doing for a while is kind of falling through, we never get any gigs anymore," Mickey says looking over at Liam as he dries a dish. "How old are you kid?"

"Twelve."

"Huh maybe that daycare thing isn't a fucking bad idea," Mickey thinks out loud as he continued to dry the same dish.
