The world wouldn't accept the fact that we separated

Senior year

As many teenagers do, they sleep all day or stay on their phone or go to parties to smoke and drink, Lucy and Diala were different they liked to read books and no they weren't nerds they were just bookworms. They would hangout everyday at Diala's after school, they were inseparable, Diala's Mom and Lucy's dad were doctors this is why Lucy and Diala wanted to be like them and wanted to go to UNI together it was their dream to go to UNI in London and then move to LA and be rich. Lucy and Diala didn't have many friends they only had each others. They would do everything together, they would study, read, go to the movies, have family gatherings, travel together.

Today is the first day of senior year, they were so excited because it's their last first day of school ever. They were having last night a sleepover so they could go together. Lucy woke up at 5 in the morning because she likes to watch the sunrise while she's on a walk, she's was a morning person unlike Diala she was so lazy. Lucy finished her walk and came back to Diala, she took a shower then woke her up. It was 6:30, they were so happy. Lucy wore a cropped green t-shirt with baggy jeans and a purple zip-up hoodie, and Diala was wearing beige corset with a brown puffer jacket and a flared brown pants. Lucy had curly short light brown hair, Diala was the complete opposite she had very long straight blonde hair.

When they arrived at school nothing was so special everything was normal. There were the queen bees wearing pink skirt as usual, the goth girls wearing all black, the athletic guys wearing their football uniform, the cheer girls wearing their cheers skirts and the nerds wearing their glasses and holding their books. Their first period was physics, it was their favorite subject, Lucy was nervous so Diala wanted to comfort her so she said:

-Hey don't be nervous, see our first period is our fav subject. Come on let's go!

-Fine!

Diala pulled her hand to go to class, they were early five minutes.

After they finished school they had a project and as usual they were together, they went to Diala's to do it and then have dinner at a restaurant close to Lucy's house. The next day was presentation day, they got the highest mark even higher then the nerds. They were so happy, they didn't have the same schedule on Tuesday so they only saw each others at lunch and after school because their parents were planning a party to celebrate since they got the highest mark for the first graded presentation in senior year. Lucy's mom loved to bake so she baked some cup cakes. They enjoyed the mini celebration party nd then went to Lucy's room to do their homework and tell each others what they did in school. Diala talked about the new boy in her math class and how cute he is.

-He's so handsome, he has curly brown hair and he's really tall.

-Ooh someone here is simping and having a new crush like every year. Lucy said while laughing.

-Oh god Lucy stop it.

-Come on tell me more about him, did you talk, did you flirt?

They kept talking until it was almost midnight and Diala had to go home.

Days and days passed of going to school and hanging out after, until it was a week before prom.
