Have you?

Also, warum nicht? ^^

Have you ever heard, my child
The greatest tales of ancient times?
Of kings and queens and mighty men
Of all the wonders that have been?

Have you heard of western lands
Unseen, untouched by mortal hands?
The trees of light there once have shone
Before the days of moon and sun

Have you seen the Onodrim
Marching in the forests dim?
They're older than the oldest mount
Know more than you could think about

Have you seen the roaring streams
Of Sirion, of Anduin?
The Rauros Falls, the Argonath
The Bruinen Ford, and Brithiach?

Have you ever seen the leaves
In the mornings, in the eves
Of Lórien, that's been before?
It's hills covered with Elanor

Have you seen the mighty halls
Filled with mithril, gems and gold?
Under mountains, under stones
Dwell the dwarves on carven thrones

Have you ever heard the sound
Of horns and hooves upon the ground?
When Rohan came to Gondors aid
The hope brought by their éored

Have you met the periannath?
The smallest folk, but full of love
Their little hearts are wide and warm
They'll never cause you any harm

Have you ever heard the calls
Of the gulls guarding the shores?
Their voices enchant you once heard
Who goes with them will not return

Namarië! Namarië!

Have you heard the elven chants
In the fading woods of once?
They all have gone across the sea
To sparkling shore and blooming tree
