In short I'm wearing my Job's life worth of payment

Before all of this happened, I worked in a convenience store to cope up with Sunmi's spending thrift. I wanted to buy her everything she needed but I was late to realized she wasn't worth my hard work and dedication

Wearing this expensive clothes gives me confidence and at the same time uneasiness added to that that I had my hair cut, my bangs were now in a good length and now I'm wearing a light make up making me seem like not in a bit near my old self.

I've never worn this much before and its making me feel unworthy of such pleasure. The past statements, the people who looked down on me keep taunting me, making me feel worthless and unimportant

When we went to buy all my clothes, I remembered the face of the sells lady. She, was like everyone I came to know, gave me a disgusting look like I was a trash not in the position of stepping in the store she worked for.

FLASHBACK

"Are we really shopping h-here Sir? Can't we just go to s-somewhere less e-expensive? I can wear anything else you know" I said while looking at the store infront of me through the windows of the limousine I was currently in

We weren't shopping in Imperial City because it was much more of a danger to be seen with him. That's why we decided to shop outside the outskirts

"Going back to the topic, Miss Lalisa, I would appreciate it if you wore a mask to hide your face. We would not like the public to know of your existence-" He handed me a white mask that hides the lower part of my face, leaving my eyes exposed

As he handed it to me I cut him off with a question

"Why?" I tilted my head in confusion

"Because it would not be appropriate if anyone knows about your connection to me and your family. A lot of your family's enemies knows I am an underling and has a great connection to your sister and if they see me giving you importance they would have connected the dots. They are not stupid, though they are fairly idiotic for trying to overthrow the Manobans" He chuckled

I was startled by a sudden sound coming from his pocket. I watch him as he said his sorry and answered the phone. He looked at me while talking to someone

"I am sorry for that Miss Lalisa, but I am needed in the company for a bit, there seems to be a problem with one of the department. Would you be okay to go to the store first? I am terribly sorry" He bowed

I stop him from bowing

"oh no its okay p-please stop saying s-sorry" I waved my hand off. I noticed I have been stuttering less than I had all through out my trauma

"Thank you Miss" He took something from his pocket and handed it to me

"This is a black card provided by your sister. It contains your money, don't worry about spending too much because I know that inside that card, holds billions of dollars" he laughed to himself when he saw how my jaw fell down

Imagine all the kittens I can have and can play with. Cat...kitten...feline eyes...makes me remember someone. I was having a blissful dream when I heard someone laugh

Mr. Yang looked at his watch

"I must go now" he opened the car door and bowed once again going to another car that was following this one

Once I saw him leave, I also stepped out of the limo and told the driver to wait for me at the parking lot

The limo was in a secluded place so not many people can see a scrawny looking girl walking out of an expensive limousine as per my request

I held the black card tightly in my hand afraid to lose it

I was walking to the store when I saw a lot of people glancing at me. It made my fear come to life but remembering that I am not the old Lisa anymore, it gave me confidence.

I do not like to brag nor do I want to flaunt my background. I just want to be treated equally, like a normal human being.

I ignored all the stares that held disgust in it and walked through the store I needed to be
