and so...
I also screamed.
And every now and then my heart would start beating really fast, I would just shut my eyes to not see scary parts, I would jump up at some scenes causing my popcorn to scatter around my seat, and I would tighten my hold on Freddy's arm.
But he didn't seem to mind, instead be would turn to me and with a chuckle say, "Amelia relax, it's not real."
Although Freddy's presence seemed to ease the fright in me a bit, the movie was still very scary, and I probably kept my eyes on the screen for a total of 30 minutes at most because I kept on closing my eyes or just looking down.
After the movie, Freddy drove me home and assured me that no monsters would come and attack me before he drove off.
And you can guess, I barely slept that night and prayed an extra long prayer before I slept.
....
It was the next day of school, Thursday, and it was almost time for third period. I was by my locker, getting the books I needed when I suddenly heard someone say in a weird dolly girl voice "BOO!" behind me.
I instantly jumped up in fright and screamed and turned to see a laughing Freddy. Luckily there weren't a lot of people in the hall-way to see me jump like that, I didn't want to draw attention to myself.
I can't believe he scared me like that, out of nowhere!
"You scared me!" I said with my hand on my chest, my heart was still beating fast from the scare.
"Oh sorry, I actually meant to say hi and not scare you." he said in a fake innocent voice.
I glared at him. "I know you were trying to mimic that doll sound from the movie."
He placed his hand over his heart. " Me? Why would I want to do that to my dear friend, I would never." he said in the same innocent voice.
i just rolled my eyes.
He smirked again, " But you appear to have been thinking about it all day. Did somebody enjoy the movie last night?"
He just liked teasing me so much, didn't he?
"Are you kidding!! I had to sleep in my little brother's room last night because i was scared, and i barely even slept!" i explained slightly raising my voice. "Also, Johnny kept on making fun of me about it this morning."i said more silently in a sad frown.
Freddy exploded with laughter.
I could not believe it, did he really find this funny?!
I folded my arms and just glared at him for a few more moments as he put his hand over his tummy and laughed.
"You really find this funny, don't you?" I said in a stern voice.
"Do you blame me?" he managed to say as he tried to calm his laughter.
I adjusted the strap of my bag-pack that was on my shoulder before I turned to walk away but Freddy immediately put his arm in-front of me so I could not pass.
" Wait, wait, where are you going?" he asked.
"To class." I answered. " Because my so called friend can't stop laughing at me." I said before i turned my head to the other side so I could not look at him.
He stopped laughing completely and sobered up. He brought his face to face mine." I'm sorry."
I turned my head to the other side but he still followed, "I'm sorry." he said again.
