The last few days of Gemma being in Iceland went by so slow and uncomfortable. Magnús would try striking up a conversation with her but it would be too dry and silence would be the result. Gemma tried her best making sure she was in her room when Magnús would come back from work. Today he took off so he could take her to the airport safely.

"Good thing I packed early because I feel lazy," Gemma tried lightening the mood with a small smile and giggle.

Magnús grinned. "I will put your things in the car and come back for you."

Gemma nodded and watched from the window as he brought her stuff to his car and effortlessly put everything in the trunk. She sipped the rest of her hot chocolate before he came back to retrieve her.

At least the drive to the airport was conversational. They talked about when they first met and how her first experience in Iceland went due to her cab not showing up.

"Never in my life have I ever jumped into a stranger's vehicle and went home with them," she laughed.

Silence. Gemma stole a glance his way and noticed a sad expression on his face. She figured he was thinking of those memories that led up to her revealing her true intentions for getting to know him.

"I want to tell you that I don't regret it," she suddenly said as they parked the car at the airport and walked inside to the gate.

"What do you mean?" Magnús asked.

"I don't regret coming here and getting to know you," she finished, a tear escaping her sad eyes. "I might not have a story they wanted but I have my own personal story. I don't care if I lose my job either, because getting to know you was the best adventure of my life and I would do it again."

She didn't give Magnús time to respond to that. Instead she stood on the tips of her toes, put her hands on his face and kissed him quickly then walked away before he could react.

Gemma felt tears forming and this time she couldn't stop them as they poured from her eyes, blurring her vision. She wanted to look back so bad, but she kept walking.

Magnús stood there watching her briskly walk to the boarding area. He begged her in his mind to turn around but when she was no longer in view, his heart dropped. If that wasn't the hardest goodbye he's ever done, then he didn't know what was.

With the taste of her lips still lingering, Magnús made his way back to his car and just sat there staring off into space. Memories flashed across his mind's eye as he suddenly heard the airplane and saw it in the air.

What was this feeling he had in the pit of his stomach? Was this heartbreak and him missing her already? He knew he loved her and from the way she kissed him goodbye, she loved him too. But she didn't say it. He didn't know she kept telling herself she didn't love him.

His pager went off, indicating there was someone in need of Sportacus nearby, so he hustled and left the airport.

A few hours later Magnús walked into the studio with a gloomy cloud above him.

"Well?" Stefan asked, walking up to him from the end of the room.

"She quickly kissed me and left abruptly," Magnús said, trying to gather his thoughts. "I need alone time. I'm off the rest of the day."

Stefan gave him a sympathetic nod and a pat on the back. He knew that when Magnús needed alone time with his thoughts, he went to the airship.

As Magnús was dressed up as Sportacus, he did a few exercises and acrobatics to try getting his mind off Gemma. But when nothing seemed to work he found himself sitting on the door that had opened up, flat, on his airship. His legs hung over the edges and he crossed his arms with a shake of his head.

"Maybe I should call her to be sure she made it home safely," he said out loud and hopped up.

His crystal on his chest began to light up as soon as he dialed her number and it rang 3 times.

"Someone is in trouble," he said and effortlessly entered his ship again to follow the navigation system.

"That's weird," he said tapping the navigator. "It's taking me out of Iceland."

Confused, Sportacus kept following the coordinates to where the danger was. Something in the pit of his stomach told him that Gemma was involved and something was terribly wrong. His heart raced as he approached the destination.

"This can't be right," he said when he slowed the ship down and stood outside to look around.

He noticed an airplane under him and his crystal went crazy when one of the plane engines exploded and caught fire.

"Woah! That's not good!" he exclaimed. "I have to get down there quickly!"

This danger was nothing Sportacus has ever done before. He wondered why his crystal and ship led him here but something told him Gemma was on that plane.

With quick reflexes, he moved the airship as close to the plane as possible without getting too close in fear of the other engine exploding. He saw people frantically pounding on the window once they saw him.

Sportacus's eyes met with a terrified Gemma's. She was yelling but he couldn't hear what she was saying. All he knew was he had to save everyone and needed to think of something, and fast!

"I have to get on that plane!" he said to himself.

"Glider!" he called and a glider fell from his ship.

With ease, Sportacus managed to glide to the door of the plane, where passengers awaited him in panic.

"Sportacus!" Gemma's voice was heard over the loud cries from fearful passengers. "Sportacus, the pilots are unconscious! No one is for sure what happened to cause the engine to explode!"

"I need everyone to calm down!" Sportacus called as he nodded his response to Gemma. "Is there anyone on board with piloting experience? We have to land this plane on the water!"

"I do..." a boy around 18 spoke up with a raise of his hand.

Sportacus nodded. "Good, go to the cockpit and try to get in touch with dispatch and they will be able to help you land this plane safely."

The boy nodded and quickly disappeared into the cockpit. If only this was easier. Everyone was still in a panic as the loud thundering sound of a burning engine filled their ears.

Gemma was finally able to get to Sportacus and gave him a big hug. She was visibly shaking and he could tell she had been crying.

"Sportacus, I..." she began but a sudden loud explosion interrupted her and caused the plane to shift.

Everyone screamed. Sportacus clenched his teeth and held on to the seat and Gemma to stead himself and her. He had to think of something quickly, or they all would go down in a watery grave!
