The Mad Ram

He hasn't yelled at me like this in a while. I haven't heard this tone in a long time.
It's actually quite scary to hear this again.

I saw Snowflake growling at him.

"Oh my- Shut your FUCKING FOX UP" Schlatt shouts once again

I rolled my eyes at him.
"I'll see you later... I'll be heading out..."

"Again? AGAIN? You're leaving AGAIN? Where are you going? Off into the woods again?" Schlatt asked

He's known about me going into the woods. But he didn't know what I was going or who I was seeing... or at least... trying to see...

I didn't answer him, I just left, walking down the wood paths. I heard shouts from behind me, growing more and more distant with each step I took. 

I grew closer and closer to the woods.

For many nights on end, I've been trying to see Technoblade. I would wonder the forest for hours to see if I could see him, but I wouldn't. Then I would go and sleep in the carriage for the night, spend time with Schlatt, then repeat.

That's how it's been these past days.
Rinse and repeat.

And today, I feel like I need to see Technoblade... Or-- at least... Anyone.
Karl, Fundy, Niki, Quackity, Tubbo- Tommy...??, Heck, I'd even want to see Dream now.

And then, after that last thought was said in my mind, I hit something.
I backed up a little before I saw an all so familiar smiley face mask.

"What? Can I just summon you whenever I think of you slightly?" I questioned, looking at the green male

"Awww, you were thinking about me? That's kinda sweet" He chuckled

"Not in a good way, Dream" I muttered

"Oh, how rude. You know, sometimes I kinda wish you were like your brother" Dream muttered out

"More like him? I never thought I'd hear someone ask for that... What? So you can get more of a benefit from teaming with us?" I questioned

"Woooww, you're really the skeptical type, aren't you?" Dream said

"It's a good thing to be when you're around people like yourself" I say

Dream lets out a low chuckle.
"We're going to be working with eachother, so you should try to at least be a little more nicer to me"

"This is how I usually am. If you think I'm being mean to you now... You really have low expectations..." I murmur

"Maybe so, but you're the one settling for someone out of your league" Dream says

"What..?" I questioned

"You've been coming into these woods more and more each night. You're in search for someone... And I just so happen to think it was me you were looking for" Dream said

Even though I couldn't see his face, I could tell he was smirking. He's joking, I can tell in his tone.

"I wasn't looking for you. And if I was, then there is seriously something wrong with me..." I mutter

 "Yeah, yeah. I know. You're looking for Techno, weren't you?" Dream said

"...huh?" I said slowly

"HA! You totally were! Don't think I saw you two that one night...! You two went into the woods for some alone time" Dream says in a teasing tone

"Don't say it like that, you're making it weirder than it should..." I muttered

Dream's laugher roared louder and louder.
Y'know, how are people scared of Dream? He acts like a total child 90% of the time.

"Could you quiet down? You're bursting my eardrums here" I heard a deep monotone voice ask

Me and Dream turn in the direction of the voice to see the one and only Technoblade standing there, crossbow thrown back over his shoulder.
My body froze as I saw him.

Why appear today and now out of all times..??

"Oh, so you finally come back to these parts...." Dream mutters

"Well yeah, have to see what i'm dealing with" Techno says

Techno then glances between me and Dream. A confused look made it's way onto his face.

"...Am I interrupting something?" Techno asked

"No"
"Yes"

I turn and glared at Dream who only laughed.

"I just bumped into Dream and ended up talking to him" I quickly explained to Techno

Techno nodded in understanding.

"Well, I guess it's my cue to leave. See you love birds around" Dream says, walking away form the two of us

We both just stared blankly at Dream, hearing his loud laughter and wheezes from the distance.
After a few moments, Techno turned to face me.

"So- uhh... Y/N, I want to ask you something." Techno mutters

"H-Hmm..?" I hummed out, a little nervous about what he's going to ask me

"...Who's side are you on?" He asked me

"Manberg, you know this..." I chuckled

"No, Y/N. What I mean is- are you willing to fight everyone else with your life to protect that nation..?" He asked

I fell silent.
No, I didn't want to fight for this nation. It definitely wasn't worth it in the long run.
The nation was going down to shit. It was so obvious to see, even if you were in the third party prospective.

"Y/N. You seem like a woman who doesn't care of the outcome of things. And from what I've heard- the stories and tales I've heard from Quackity. He's told us that you don't care for government. And you surely don't care about how Manberg is ran. As long as Schlatt's happy, you're happy. Right?" Techno said

As long as Schlatt's happy... I'm happy.
Is that really right though..?
Am I really as happy as I say I am..?

Or was it all just one big lie..?

"...I could care less about Manberg. Schlatt's willing to take it down with him if he needs to... So, what's the point..?" I asked

"...Y/N. I have an offer for you" He says

"And what kind of offer would that be..?" I questioned

"Destroy Manberg with me, Y/N"
