The Marquess grows cautious of my research, and I catch him looking at me in the library with this look on his face. Whether pity or wariness, I am not sure. He has not stopped me as of yet, but this is still not a good sign.
I need to be more careful.
I am just glad that T̶e̶w̶k̶e̶s̶ young master Tewkesbury remains oblivious to my long journeys to the library. Lord knows that everything will get infinitely more complicated the moment he involves himself in this.

The records concerning the history of the newest lords and ladies are found in the private section of the House of Lords archives. I do not know if they have the answers I am looking for, but they are my best lead.
