The three 11 year olds made their way off the train, and they stepped off and saw the magnificent castle. It was beautiful and just how Ara imagined it.
"Holy fuck" she said with wide eyes when she saw the castle; the boys just nodded in agreement
"Right, then! First years! This way, please! Come on, now, don't be shy! Come on now, hurry up!" Hagrid said to the first years waving one of his hands while the other had a lantern.
"Hello, Harry." Hagrid said to Harry and his two new friends
"Hey, Hagrid." Harry said waving at Hagrid
"Hello" Ara said waving at the giant man
"Whoaa!" Ron said in awe
"Right then. This way to the boats! Come on, now, follow me." Hagrid said guiding the first years to the boats
We made our way to the lake where there were many boats and you could really see the castle and it still looked ethereal that Ara had to wipe her glasses and make sure she was seeing the right thing.
"Wicked" Ron and Ara said in unison and looking at each other
They made their way inside the castle where they were greeted with an older woman wearing emerald robes.
"Welcome to Hogwarts. Now, in a few moments, you will pass through these doors and join your classmates. But before you can take your seats, you must be sorted into your houses. They are Gryffindor, Hufflepuff, Ravenclaw, and Slytherin. Now while you're here, your house will be like your family. Your triumphs will earn you house points. Any rule breaking, and you will lose points. At the end of the year, the house with the most points is awarded the house cup." Professor McGonagall said to the new comers
"TREVOR" a scared looking chubby boy said, grabbing his toad and looking up "Sorry" he said, looking down and going back to his spot.
"The sorting ceremony will begin momentarily." McGonagall said looking at the boy then making her way into the great hall
Then Ara saw her cousin walk up and she knew this was going to go bad.
"Fuck" she muttered under her breath
"It's true then, what they're saying on the train. Harry Potter has come to Hogwarts." Draco said; some of the students heard whispering, "Harry Potter?"
"This is Crabbe and Goyle. And I'm Malfoy...Draco Malfoy." he said Ron snickers at his name
"Think my name's funny, do you? No need to ask yours. Red hair, and a hand-me-down robe? You must be a Weasley. Well, soon find that some wizarding families are better than others, Potter. Don't want to go making friends with the wrong sort. I can help you there." he said extending his arm
"I think I can tell who the wrong sort are for myself, thanks." Harry said
"Woah there Dray you got regretted" Ara said laughing at her cousin who huffed and was about to make a resort when McGonagall came back.
"We're ready for you now. Follow me." McGonagall said leading the first years into the great hall
The great hall was amazing just like it stated in The Hogwarts of History which she heard somebody talking about.
"Will you wait along here, please? Now, before we begin, Professor Dumbledore would like to say a few words."McGonagall said
"I have a few start of term notices I wish to announce. The first years please note that the dark forest is strictly forbidden to all students. Also, our caretaker, Mr. Filch has asked me to remind you that the 3rd floor corridor on the right hand side is out of bounds to everyone who does not wish to die a most painful death. Thank you." Dumbledore said sitting back down
