*BEEP BEEP*

I peel my eyes open, looking around the room, trying to locate the source of the alarm. I sit up as I noice my phone on the other side of the room, where I'd left it charging the previous morning. Swinging my feet off the side of the bed, I get up, grab my glasses from the table, and walk over to the phone. I swtich it off, and sit in front of my mirror, head in my hands. A knock sounds at my door, and I mumble a come in. The door swings open, and Luke steps in, already in school uniform.

"You look... Horrible," He says to me as I squint up at him.

"Aren't you lovey," I mumble back to him, hugging my knees into my chest.

"What's up?" Luke asks me, genuine concern wiping the smile off his face. I shake my head, yawning.

"Okay, well. Ben's in the shower so here's no chance of you getting in there now," Luke says and I groan.

"Fine," I say, shooing Luke out of the room. I stand up, and stagger over too the wardrobe, changing into my school uniform. I spray some random deodorant on, throwing it onto the bed. I step in front of the mirror, and am alarmed at the flatness of my hair. I grab my hair brush, smoothing out the knots. I pull my hair up into a pony tail, and rub under my eyes, trying to force myself awake.

I grab my shoes and pull the onto my feet, falling over multiple times, until I finally manage to tie the laces. I swing my bag onto my shoulder, and half run my way to the now free bathroom. I brush my teeth, splashing water onto my face.

As I exit the bathroom, I walk straight into someone who I'm sure doesn't live in this house. A mop of blue? hair, pale skin, eyebrow piercing. Michael.

"What, why are you here?" I say, eyes wide in shock. I notice he doesn't have a shirt on, and two tattoos are sprawled on his arms. I guess I never noticed as he's always wearing a blazer.

"I came last night, Luke said you were asleep. Mum kicked me out, said I was too "rebellious" or some shit," Michael say, and I shake my head, walking down the stairs. I hear the school bus pull up, and frown. (Oh, and I know, 'didn't Jack and Ben pick you up yesterday?' Yes. We still get a bus too school, as they both have work, meaning there isn't a way for them too take us)

I'm sure my alarm should give me time too have a shower and eat? I'm sure it should..

"LUKE!" I shout. I hear a muffled 'yeah' in response, "BUS IS HERE."

Luke comes running doen he stairs, along with Mike trailing behind him.

"Shit," He mumbles, and runs to grab his rucksack from the lounge. He makes his way to the door, Mikey behind him

"Luke. Shoes are a good idea," I say as he opens the door.

"For gods sake, ugh," He says, grabbing his converse from the rack. He pulls them on, and I push past him, making my way to the door, taking a few steps towards the bus. Michael pushes past me, and strides up to the bus. He jumps on, and I head on after him. As I get on, I feel eyes on me at all times, waiting for the moment I mess up. I hear Luke behind me, and it encourages me to walk faster up the centre isle. I trip on someones foot and feel myself fall. A hand grabs onto my shoulder, stopping me from falling completely. I look up, at the face of Calum? I stare at him, and he returns my gaze.

"What?" He says. I shake my head, taking a seat in one of the empty ones. Luke sits next to me, asking if I'm okay. I nod, and grab a book out of my bag. I flip open the cover of The Fault In Our Stars, turning the first page for what seems the 200th time by now. It's that sort of book, one that you can never be bored of, like every time you read it is a new time.
