Naoko P.O.V

"Thank you."

Napatingin ako sa lalaking nakaupo sa passenger seat when he said those words. However, he's not even looking at me when he said it. Nakatingin lang ito sa labas ng bintana.

Napailing na lang ako at ibinalik ang atensyon ko sa daanan. Why would he thank me after poking my conscience about the flour incident? 

"You don't need to thank me. Now, we're even." I plainly said to him.

I suddenly feel him shifting his position. I tried to ignore it but his piercing stare is starting to irk me! 

It's fine Princess, just ignore him. I said to myself. Yeah, I should just ignore him and dropped him somewhere arou----

"You saw it don't you?" he blankly asked me. 

"Saw what?" pag-papatay malisya ko naman though I have a hunch na yung tinutukoy niya na nakita ko is yung pagsampal sa kanya ng babae. 

Whether he bought what I have said or not, I have no idea because he doesn't even comment about it. 

"Are you not going to ask who is that woman?" Luca said the 'woman' word with such a bitter and disdain tone. 

"No, it is none of my business." I simply said. 

So please don't get me involved in your problem. I inwardly wished for it. I have too much problem on my hands that I can't take another burden anymore. 

"You're weird."

Bigla akong napaapak sa brake ng kotse ko. Good thing, sumakto yung pag-apak ko sa brake ng mag-red ang stoplight. I glance at him in disbelief but he just stare at me blankly and inetently as if deciphering me. 

This crazy bastard! Is he seriously calling me weird when he is the one who is even weirder than me----- huh? 

My eyes furrowed when I saw a bruise forming in the left corner of his lips. It seems like he was really hit hard by that woman earlier. 

"You have a bruise." I point my finger towards the corner of his lips. 

He lightly touch the place where I point out the bruise. He sightly grimace when his hand *graze the bruise. Oh. That looks painful. 

"This is nothing compared to what she had done multiple times in the past." Luca mumbled. 

"What did you say?" kunot noo namang tanong ko. Just to make sure na tama ang pagkakarinig ko. 

"It's nothing. This is nothing." Luca just shrugged his shoulders as he tried to shrugged off his bruise as if it was nothing. 

I scoffed at him and decided to just ignore him. Nag-go signal naman na yung stoplight at pinaandar ko na ulit ang kotse ko.

"They said that you like me before you lose your memories but I am beginning to doubt those rumors now." he bluntly said.

"Maybe after I lose my memories I also lose those feelings." I flatly said.

"Maybe." I saw him shrugged his shoulders nonchalantly from the corner of my eyes atsaka ibinalik ulit ang tingin sa labas ng bintana.

It seems like he doesn't really care whether I like him or no longer like him anymore. I think if it was the previous Princess who held some feelings for this guy, she would be hurt knowing the guy she likes doesn't even bother with her unrequited feelings.
