Identity V Oneshots! <3

A/N: I'm a sucker for this ship I know (this au was also inspired by a fan fiction of this ship called Chances written by jjwhcs but I think they discontinued it, I'm not entirely sure but I really enjoyed it!)

Naib was always considered an outcast in his classes since middle school. No one except for a few individuals dared to approach him. Rumors about him spread through out the school like wild fire. All sorts of ridiculous things were said about him, from him being a delinquent, to him killing his own parents. For some context, a few years ago when Naib was in 9th grade, Naib's parents were murdered in their sleep while Naib was away at a sleep over with his good friend Eli. It was quite obvious that it wasn't Naib and the true criminal had already been found. Naib is now in 11th grade and many people still avoid him at all costs. Naib soon learned to ignore the rude comments people made about him when walking by him in the halls but it still did quite bother him that people would even think he would do such a thing.

Although he was an outcast, he did have a small amount of friends, Eli Clark as mentioned before, and Mike Morton.

Mike wasn't too popular but had a decent amount of friends and was known as the 'class clown' since he constantly goofed off and poked fun at his classmates. He first approached Naib in 10th grade out of curiosity to see if he was truly what the rumors made him out to be. Naib's personality was not at all what he expected and continued to be friends with him even after finding out what he wanted to know.

Eli, Eli was the first person to ever approach him in middle school. Even after hearing the rumors about him, Eli was still determined to befriend the short brunette. Naib wasn't use to socializing or being approached so at first, he was quiet cold to him but he did enjoy the company of Eli since he didn't get much attention from anyone ever except for his parents. They soon became close friends and are still close friends in high school.

Naib thought that nothing would change throughout high school, the rumors, the teasing, and the bullying. Key word, he 'thought' nothing would change, until one fateful day in his first period class, English...

"Good morning class, I hope you all had a lovely weekend"

Ms. Mary said cheerfully as she stood up in front of the chalk board.

"We have a new transfer student that will be joining us for the rest of the year, Mr. Campbell would you please stand up and introduce yourself?"

Naib turned his head to see the boy sitting next to him, standing up from his seat and introducing himself. Naib hadn't even noticed the unfamiliar face sitting by him, as he would just stare out of the window next to him, gazing at the beautiful cherry blossom trees.

"Hello, my name is Norton, it's a pleasure to meet you all"

The boy said while slightly bowing his head before taking a seat. Naib inspected the new student and moved his eyes up and down, looking at him. The boy name Norton, had fluffy, pointy hair that was pitch black like pen ink. He was wearing a dark muted green hoodie with a black T-shirt underneath and dark blue jeans with small,worn out rips on the side. He was also very tall, much taller than Naib to the point where he would tower over him if they stood in front of each other. Naib's guesses that he would be about neck level compared to the black haired boy. Naib didn't realize he was staring at him until Norton glanced over at him. Naib quickly looked down at his desk in embarrassment with his face flushed in pink.

Oh shit, he saw me. But not gonna lie, he's kinda good looking wait what-

Naib thought to himself as he began writing on his assignment. As the class period went by, Naib couldn't help but glance over every so often at the tall boy. Thankfully for Naib, he didn't seem to notice and didn't look back at him.
