As you have seen jax is an orphan and a confused one but that didn't stop him from being a great fighter and he has mastered the might of the grandmasters at the age of 18 something no one has ever done lee sin and master looked back at the greatness that an orphan achieved.
After dinner, a ninja sneaked into the temple with his followers awaiting Shen commanded them to assassinate jax because he was a force that demacia and noxus want to get rid of, when Shen walked in jax room Jax wasn't ready for a fight because he woke up with a ninja in his face. Shen, straight away after jax woke up took out his katana and stabbed the bed but, Shen realized that it wasn't jax. jax didn't have a weapon but he brought a lamp that he took out of,the ground and leaped onto Shen
