i watch as y/n drives to the shelter to get a cat

techno: "what are you gonna name the cat?"

y/n: "i honestly don't know, this was an impulsive decision i made at 3 am"

i chuckle and they laugh

y/n: "i might ask the people, or i might ask niki"

techno: "that's a good idea, i don't trust you with naming things"

y/n: "how rude"

techno: "be honest what were you going to name it"

y/n: "i was going to name him toast"

(A/N: IM GONNA BE COMPLETELY HONEST, AT FIRST I PUT FLOOF AND THEN REALIZED "oh that's technos dog" LMADHAHHAHAH)

Techno: "you know that isn't horrible, but WHY A FOOD"

we both laugh

y/n: "listen this is why i have to ask niki, but i like toast"

techno: "you're such a nerd"

techno: "yep, also does the cat look like toast"

we drive a couple more minutes listening to wilburs songs

y/n: "tell wilbur that we're his number 1 listeners"

i laugh

techno: "we really are"

soon enough we reach the shelter and y/n immediately gets out of the car, practically dragging me along with them

considering the time, we were the only ones there

y/n and me stood together while we wait for the lady to come back with Toast

lady: "you guys are so cute, i hope you guys enjoy your cat"

y/n chuckles

y/n: "thank you, but this one is mine"
they say pointing to Toast

techno: "and this one is mine"
i say pointing to y/n

y/n: "you're annoying"

i chuckle and she shakes her head

the lady laughs and passes us the papers to adopt Toast

i look down at toast in his little box

y/n: "you're my favorite"

techno pretends to be hurt

i roll my eyes

y/n: "ignore him"

techno: "are we gonna get him some things?"

i nod and techno gets into the drivers seat

techno: "we're switching"

i nod and sit down in the passengers seat

techno: "Toast, you'll be the most spoiled cat"
