Greetings, fellow delinquents.

Ugh gross, please hit me with a stick if I ever say that again.

Hi there! I'm Meg Lena, a "new" author to Wattpad! New in the sense that I've never published anything before, but I've been around the block quite a bit of times. I'm excited to actually try and get something done for once, rather than leave it to die like most of my other works. This story will be updated every Sunday.

Anyways, I see you've arrived at this fic for a reason. Now let me take a guess... you've got yourself a crush on a certain Jonathan Murphy. How unfortunate. Though good for you, I have also fallen into the same sea of those vengeful, blue eyes and will waste no time in dragging you further down with me until we hit the rocky bottom. You have been warned.

I decided to rate this fic as mature because I'm not so sure what I'm going to add into it yet, but I know there will be heavy language and graphic violence. Of what kind I do not know, but I am a descriptional writer, so whatever there is you'll be able to form an intricate picture in your head. Be advised that the maturity warning is there for a reason. If you at any point uncomfortable, please cease reading and let me know what the issue was. This helps me cater my work better to my audience. Thank you for your help!

Also an unfortunate disclaimer is that I've only been through the first two seasons of The 100 so far, so there are a lot of things I am yet to learn. Thankfully for you, that means that if you're in the same boat as me there won't be spoilers. However, I have come across a good handful of such things online and in turn know more than I should.

This story is to be centered around Ascana Zion. I was stuck between writing in second or first person, but as I am more used to it, the latter won. She is a prisoner who was arrested for a horrendous crime but was unable to be put to death when she should have been. Or should she have been? That is for you to decide, as you are now stepping into the role of Ascana. There are many dark secrets to discover about your past, and it all begins in solitary confinement with a journal and a pen.

Now, I've been blabbering long enough. If I think of anything else I'm sure I'll come back and edit it into this note for future audiences. Also, big thanks if you actually read through this note. It really isn't that important, but it always feels good when people care to read my thoughts. So thank you!

And for now, enjoy this thrilling story. Be cautious, there are more than just sparkles and warmth in the deep blue sea. May we meet again.

Meg Lena
