I woke up to my alarm and realized Taylor and Katie weren't here anymore. I checked my phone and saw a text from Katie

Katie

Hey love we went home to get ready for school we'll pick you up at 7:45

Okay just honk if you're here. Read 6:30

I went to the bathroom put on my playlist and got ready

I went downstairs and saw a note of my mom

Hey hun,
I had to go on a last minute business trip I'm sorry I wish you a great first day of school there's money on your bank account for the next 3 months

I was a bit sad ngl she's always away and I'm usually by myself. My dad went to go buy milk when I was 4 even though we had 3 unopened bottle of milk at home but yea anyways he's still at the groceries.

I put the letter away and waited for Katie. I didn't eat idk I'm never hungry before school it's too early ig. I was scrolling on social media when I heard a honk, I took my backpack, keys, phone and AirPods and left the house.

Y: Hey bitches
K: Heyyyy
T: hey babe

I got in and when we got to school everyone came up to me telling me how happy they were that I moved back. We then went to the office to pick up your schedule

K: What do you have as first period?
T: Math
Y: english ugh
K: wait me too!
T: so y'all gonna leave me all alone?!
K: shut up you're friends w everyone in school you won't be alone
T: damn okay

She laughed and the bell rang and we parted ways
Katie and I got to the classroom and sat in the back

Mr. Johnson: Hello class I'm Mr Joh-

Suddenly the door opened wide and I saw Mattia standing there he was catching his breath
Great I have English with him that will be a hell of a ride

Mr Johnson: Mr. Polibio you're late
Mattia: yea no shit
Mr Johnson: Don't talk to me like that where's your tardy slip
M: Up your ass

He mumbled

When did he became so rude?

Mr. J: Whatever see me after class you can go sit next to the new girl

What?! I hope there's another new girland the teacher meant her.. he can't sit next to me

Mattia scanned the class and once he saw me his eyes softened. His eyes were red and he had eyebags. It seemed like he hadn't slept the entire night. He made his way up to me and sat down. I tried my best to ignore him and listened to the teacher until I saw him passing a piece of paper on my side of the table

Meet me at the bleachers during lunch pls

I looked at him and he gave me puppy eyes and mouthed pls. I looked at the paper again when the bell rang and he went out.
Should I meet him there or not?
