We heard the knock and Jennie ran towards the front door as I followed. She told me that Ji-won is her closest cousin in his family which is why she's excited to introduce me to him. Jennie opened the door and a tall guy wearing a white long sleeves polo and his hair parted on the side greeted us, a smirk plastered on his face

"Ji-won!" Jennie greeted her as they both hugged each other

"Yah! I told you to call me Bobby you dumpling" he pinched the cheeks of the latter who is greatly against it. I just watch them as my mind started to run 250 km/ph. I was getting light-headed seeing him

"So Bobby this is my girlfriend, Lisa" she pulled me as she clings to my arms. He reached out his hands I was just busy staring at his face

Jennie noticed the awkwardness so she cleared her throat catching my attention as I awkwardly reach for his hands and shook it

"So get inside. I'll just check on the roast" Jennie left as Bobby removed his shoes and went inside

He handed me the wine he brought as he taps my shoulder and went inside, I stood like a tree because it seems like this is all just a dream. Nothing is real right now, why is he here? why him? I've already seen him once, that night in the club, but after that, I've never seen even a shadow of him and now he's here right now sitting at the table smiling and laughing with Jennie, who is, by the way, is her cousin

I suddenly felt like I was sick so I just placed the bottle on the counter and ran towards the bathroom. As soon as I went inside I leaned towards the toilet and puked. When I finally gathered myself I splashed my face with water and went fishing for the medication that I hid under the sink. I took 2 pills and drank water from the sink as I fix myself before going out

I went back outside and found the two already settled on the table laughing and talking about something I can't quite hear clearly. I sat beside Jennie and Bobby was sitting across her. I can't help myself but feel awkward, after all, billions of people in the world and he ends up being her cousin. What a really fucked up world this is.

"So how'd you two meet?" Bobby asked when we finally served ourselves with food

I didn't even bother to look up and started playing with my plate

"Well we first saw each other in Chaeyoung's bar uptown but we didn't really meet each other after a month" Jennie answered as she reached for my hand. I heard Bobby clapped in excitement

"How lovely! This kimchi fried rice by the way is amazing Jen" he complimented. I tried my best to eat the food but I already lost my appetite when I saw him enter thru the door

"Lili are you okay? You're not eating" Jennie leaned and whispered when she noticed me just playing around with the food on my plate

"Yeah. I'm just a little full because of the sandwiches" and gave her a half-felt smile as she kissed me on the cheeks

"So sweet!! So tell me about yourself, Lisa, any hobbies?" I stole a glimpse and saw him pointing at me with his chopsticks smiling widely. I had to clear my throat first before answering him because it feels like something's clogged up

"No. I-uh I don't really have much free time because of my job" he nodded and took another piece of meat and ate it

"Well, you should make time! Life's too short to just work all day. Am I right Jen?" Jennie nodded like she's got much free time but we all know that she also has a very busy schedule
