Chapter 2: Jealousy

Yuno POV

"I wanted t-to tell you that I h-have a crush on a girl in my class and I don't k-know how to ask her out.."

I stood there, looking at [Y/N] with a surprised look. Is it Hinata Hino? Why would she catch his attention? I didn't realize how jealous I looked until I saw [Y/N] looking at me, confused as to why I seemed jealous.

I quickly changed my expression to a happy one, [Y/N] is my best friend and I should accept whoever they love.

"Oh my god! [Y/N]! You finally have a crush on someone! Although, I wish it was me..." I mumbled the last part, not wanting [Y/N] to hear.

"So could you... help me ask her out? I-I mean if you don't mind," [Y/N] nervously asked.

I could see how embarrassed [Y/N] was. I sighed and smiled.

"Of course!"

RING RING FUCKING RING

The bell had rang.

This soon? Mm... it's fine I guess.

"Well, I have to get going now. See ya, [Y/N]!"

I walked out of the school and went home.

On my way home, I saw someone in a blue hoodie, hiding as they were trying to catch something. I quickly hid as well, I decided to follow this mysterious person.

As I was getting out to follow, I suddenly saw what the person was following or rather....who.

As the person was about to move again, I quickly grabbed them and looked directly at them.

"Who are you? And why are you following [Y/N]?"

"Get out of the way, bitch."

I immediately recognized the voice. It was Akari, she's in [Y/N]'s class.

The person pushed me away and ran as fast as they could.

I'll have to walk [Y/N] home then... I guess.

I pulled out my phone and texted [Y/N].

Yeah, I'm fine. I saw the person too but I didn't get to see who it was.

I put my phone away and continued walking back to my house.

As I reached my house I saw a red box. I opened it up and stared at what was inside for a while.

It was a sheet of paper with the words "Stay Away From [Y/N] Or Else"

Like that would scare the shit out of me.

I walked inside and threw the paper in the trash can.

Reader POV

It was a black american bobtail cat. I picked it up and gently pet it. It's fur was really soft, making me forget what I was so afraid of. I felt my phone vibrate, a text from Yuno.
