I woke up with a blurry bright view and my mom anxiously staring at me. ' whe-where am I.' I gasped for air after I said that. ' oh my god Katie! what happened is everything okay?? I was so worried about you. ' my mom said. I couldn't fully open my eyes because of the bright lights in the room. I was in the hospital. ' m-mom where is lex .. 'I said. 'oh sweetie that's not why we're here alright. It's gonna be okay I promise'. My mom didn't know how important this was for me. She didn't know I needed her. Alexa is my home. ' mom I need her please.. please ' I felt another panic attack coming but I didn't let anyone know. Well everyone did know eventually because you could hear the heart peeps going faster and faster. ( writers note: I don't know what the real word for heart peeps is lmao ) my mom screamed for the nurse and I even panicked more because I didn't know what was happening. ' help, HELP!!!' I have never seen my mom being this scared.
The nurse came in and immediately put an oxygen mask on my face. Why? Who knows. But it did help and I eventually calmed down a little bit. They also gave me medication for uh I don't even know the names of it but it made me really sleepy. So there I was. Falling asleep in my hospital room and still without knowing where Alexa was.
