Chapter One

Jade's POV:  I smiled to myself as I packed a bag; I was finally moving out of my horrible parent's house and moving into my girlfriend Tori Vega's new apartment. "What do you think you're doing?" Isla, my half-sister, said at the doorway. I froze and turned to face her, "none of your business." Isla scoffed and rolled her eyes. "Ummm, actually, it is my business, or do you want me to tell mom and dad?" I stared at her, "you wouldn't" Isla grinned "oh, but I would." I pushed past her and began walking down the stairs with my suitcase. "Jade, dear, what are you doing?" I heard my mother ask. I gulped and turned to face her. "Mom, I'm leaving to live with Tori." My mother's face turned red with anger, and I could see her veins popping out on her forehead. "You're going to live with that Vega girl?" Mrs. West spat in my face. I nodded, knowing what was coming next. Mrs. West came closer to me with a wicked smile on her face, "are you ready for your reward today?" she asked. Mrs. West came up to me and began whipping my arms leaving large bruises on them. I tried to hold back tears, but they came flowing down as the pain became unbearable. "Now, LEAVE this place; as of now, you are no longer part of this family." my mother said. "Mom-mom, please." I pleaded to feel the pain from the bruises. my mother turned away and opened the door for me. "Goodbye." She said; I walked out, heading to Tori's apartment. 

Tori's POV:  "That looks great, Andre; Jade will love it!" As my best friend, Andre Harris, I exclaimed, hung a picture of Jade and me with flowers around it. "No problem, anything to help my best friend." Andre said, "I have to go back to my grandma's; she's having trouble with her fridge." I nodded and said goodbye to him. Looking at the apartment, I smiled. Just then, I heard a loud knock on the door. I opened to see Jade standing there, crying. "Oh, my gosh, Jade, what's wrong?" I asked as she collapsed into my arms. "M-my parents kicked me out because I love you." She sobbed; I stared at her in shock. "They did that?" I asked Jade, she nodded. I placed my hand on her cheek and pulled her face towards mine. "Hey," I said softly, "I'm here, ok? I love you." I leaned towards her and placed my lips on hers's giving her and small kiss. I pull away slowly, but Jade grabs my arm before I do. She leans towards me and gives me a passionate kiss. "Can we go to our new room?" She asked slowly. I smiled at the words of our new room. "Yeah, we can," I say. 

Jade's POV:  I smiled softly as Tori led me into the room we now shared. "Here it is," Tori said, opening the door. My smile grew wide as I took in the room; purple, teal, silver, and black; there were a bed and a bathroom (there is more stuff, but I'm too lazy to write it). "Do you like it?" Tori asks nervously. I look at her, "I love it." I exclaim. "Soo Ummm, what now?" Tori asks. I smiled at her and gave her a passionate kiss. "I was thinking..." I say. Tori smiled and pushed me onto the bed (Then they do stufffffff I'm not going to write). Tori sat up and began stroking my hair, "hey baby?" she said, looking at me. I looked up, "yeah?" Tori sighed and stopped stroking me. "What happened between you and your mom?" She asked. I froze and felt the tears coming again. Tori saw my face, and her eyes widened. "If you don't wanna talk about it, that's ok." She said. I shook my head and wiped the tears from my eyes. "No, it's ok." I sigh. "I told her I was going to live with you, and she beat me and kicked me out," I say. Tori's eyes widen, "you mom did that?" She asked. I nodded, and she held me even tighter like she wasn't ever going to let go. I made my way out of her arms and stood up, "wait, where are you going?" Tori asked, confused. I ignored her and promptly walked out of the room and back to my house. When I got there, I knocked on the door, it opened, and I saw my mother standing in the doorway. "What are you doing here?" She spat when she saw me. I stared at her, "I'm here to get the rest of my stuff." I said. Then I pushed past her up to my bed. When I got up there, I let out a breath I was holding in. I grabbed some clothes and a stuffed cat I've had since I was little. "Goodbye," I say to my room. I walked out, ignoring my mom. I got back to the apartment and walked it. Tori looked at me, confused, before she could ask me where I went. I slammed my lips onto hers and kissed her tightly, not wanting to let go. I pulled away after what seemed like forever. "What was that about?" Tori asked me. "Nothing, I'm just thrilled we're living together," I reply. "I'm kinda hungry; what about you?" Tori said. I nodded, and she walked into the kitchen to make something. She came out holding two plates of lasagna. "Movie dinner?" She asked; I nodded; she placed the plates on a coffee table and turned on the tv. "What do you wanna watch?" She asked, looking at me. "How about Pitch Perfect 3?" I reply. "I love that movie," Tori exclaimed. She got it running, and we cuddled on the couch together as we watched it. When the movie was over, we talked about our favorite moments (Tori's was the Riff-Off, and Jade's was the Toxic fight scene) and our favorite songs (Tori's was "Cheap Thrills" and "Freedom 90",  Jade's was "Toxic, and "I Don't Like It I Love It")
