First Day

It was a smooth and lonesome day for Lenna. As she was ready to go to college... It was her first day in college and she entered the college taking a deep breath...

Entering the class, she sat on the last bench, as she didn't want to start a conversation with anyone.

The professor entered the class and introduced himself and started the class. That is when some students entered the class...

Lenna looked at the door and saw 2 boys, but a boy in black pants and a white shirt caught her eye as it was her favourite colour...

Lenna kept staring at him as the boys were talking to the professor. She felt someone looking at her and it was the other boy who was wearing black pants and a grey hoodie. She looked at him and he suddenly tried to avoid her glance.

Lenna swift her glance to the first boy and he looked towards Lenna and she looked down at her feet embarrassed...

It was a lunch break. Lenna was sitting in the cafeteria alone with her lunch, but she couldn't get the boy out of her thoughts... Just then, someone sat beside her and she looked at her side to see the boy from before and she was startled.

"Hi..." the boy said, smiling at Lenna and she blinked twice and asked, "Are you talking to me?" while looking behind her.

The guy snickered while swaying his head and spoke, "Of course...". Lenna acknowledged while stating, "Oh hi..." and glanced down at her meal.

"I'm Shawn..." he stated while beaming gently towards Lenna and she was stunned but responded, "I'm Lenna..."

"Nice name!!" said Shawn with great enthusiasm, which Lenna took by surprise. She wondered why a handsome guy like him was talking to her.

"Thanks...?" Lenna said while taking a bite of her food. Shawn sighed in annoyance and said, "Am I not handsome enough to talk to...?" which caught Lenna off guard and she choked on her food.

Shawn rubbed her back and handed her water to drink while saying, "Careful...". Lenna looked at him with tears, as it was the first time someone was concerned about her. But, she knew Shawn was doing this as a human, nothing more, nothing less.

"So now... I'm here to invite you to our club..." Lenna was disappointed but brushed off her thoughts and listen to him.

"What club?" She asked, looking at Shawn curiously. "Music..." Lenna was thrilled, as she loved music more than she loved herself.

Hope you are all fine and doing well...
